Summary of THREE DAYS WORKSHOP ON

“COMPUTER HARDWARE, NETWORKING & DATABASE PROGRAMMING”

organized and successfully conducted three days workshop from 27/06/17 to

29/06/17 on the topic of Computer Hardware, Networking & Database

Programming .

The Chief guest, Dr.AlamShaikh (Principal, PadmabhushanVasantdada Patil

Pratishtan’s College of Engg) &Mr.ShaileshMokashi (Registrar,

PadmabhushanVasantdada Patil Pratishtan’s College of Engg). inaugurated the

function with SaraswatiPoojan. Hon. Principal Dr.AlamShaikh guided the

audience about the need of updating of knowledge in the field of recent

technologies and also understand the need of industry. Total 8 Lab Assistants/ Sr.

Introduction to Big Data

Start of the first session of this one week ISTE Approved STTP on Big Data and Hadoop is with

the introduction of Big data and Hadoop with there features. Mr.Nishant explained as Big data is

a term for data sets that are so large or complex that traditional data processing application

software is inadequate to deal with them. Challenges include capture, storage, analysis, search,

sharing, transfer, visualization, updating and information privacy.
