Honda’s design approach, ‘Man Maximum, Machine Minimum’, is evident with this design. The vision of optimised space within a compact car comes to life with the Brio. One look at the impressive space that the boot provides, with a capacity of 405 litres, and you’ll see that you can load almost anything with ease. This is made possible by the car’s innovative three-box shape, the cleverly designed wide boot lid being top-hinged including the ability to open all the way down to the bumper.

Experience the agility and versatility of Honda’s variable i-VTEC system. This ingenious design adjusts the valve timing according to the driving conditions resulting in a drive that offers you optimal performance and efficiency. At the heart of the Brio performance is a compact, four-cylinder engine which delivers an exciting 65 kW at 6000 rpm, linked to a torque peak of 109 Nm at 4500 rpm. Honda engineers have included a choice of a five-speed automatic gearbox as an enticing option.

The Brio comes standard with a 2 year / 30000 km service plan.

Safety9 Performance

Safety features

The Brio comes with a range of enhanced safety features. Honda’s G-Force Control body engineering technologies (Advanced G-Con) recognise the need to dissipate crash forces away from a vehicle’s occupants in the case of a collision. Crumple zones are engineered into the critical body components, while also regulating the way collision forces react with the interior components of a vehicle. G-Con also allows the accurate location of safety-critical components such as seatbelt mounting points.

01 ABS (Anti-lock Braking System) and EBD (Electronic Brake Distribution) offer optimal braking force on all wheels for enhanced vehicle control.

02 Driver and passenger airbags and integrated head restraints.

03 Pretensioner seatbelts with load limiters tighten to keep the body firmly in place in a collision.

04 ACE (Advanced Compatibility Engineering) prevents cabin deformation in head-on collisions by dispersing the collision forces away from the passenger safety cell. This is achieved by employing a front- mounted polygonal main frame with energy- absorbing capabilities.
