2. INDUSTRY ANALYSIS
2.1 HOMEZERS RELATIVE POSITION
The global construction industry has been growing over the years, with healthy- looking
growth forecasts of over 70% to be accomplished by 2025 (Construction 2025, 2013). One of
the biggest objectives for the entire industry is to improve and solve problems, with the use of
technology. The implementation of digital construction will make it easier for its participants and
will be a great way to monitor how responsive all players within the industry, really are.
The construction industry in the UK has been growing at a healthy pace for the past five
years. Despite some implications and the liquidation of Carillion in 2018, the construction
industry is forecasted to grow by 1.9% in 2019.
Construction plays a great
importance in UK’s economy due
to its growth and varies
contributions. The economy
benefits from around £90 billion
that the construction industry
contributes, which is around 7%
of the total (Construction Sector
Infographic, 2013).

2.3 EVIDECE OF CUSTOMER DEMAND
Construction industry is very attractive, with high prospects for the future. At present,
Homezer is in its infancy stage of a long-term investment and is aiming to distinguish
itself from its competitors by creating a quality trusted brand that adds value to its
customers on a larger scale.
A common problem that is experienced daily by majority of the UK population is
condensation damp in properties they live in, which may potentially be associated with
serious health risks. Homezer recognises the issues that the residents are faced with,
either privately or whilst renting out a property, and can provide long-lasting solutions.
Consequently, Homezer’s main competitive edge over its competitors is the complete
minimization of costs at start up. Therefore, operational costs are much lower, giving the
ability to use resources to improve buying power and prevents certain unnecessary
costs.

Homezer is a viable long-term investment opportunity and is aimed to bring in profits
year on year, with sustainable innovation and customer demand at heart. Although
customer demand often fluctuates regularly, there are ways to understand customer
behaviour. This will assist in fundamental aspects of any project and will ease the
operations. The proprietors are capable and experienced in identifying customer
demand and can efficiently respond to change as required.
