In 2012 he moved to Richmond, VA. starting from scratch to build another congregation. Due to the winter weather conditions causing him to get sick frequently, he and his wife, Lilian decided to move to a warmer climate. They now reside in Orlando. Lucas has been working with the Hispanic con- gregation here at Concord for several months and has applied for the job as our Hispanic minister. He speaks three languages, Portu- guese, English and Spanish.

Our speaker for this evening service will be Brother Lucas Vasconcellos.

Charlene Blanton– Had cornea surgery on July 23; encountering obstacles in healing. Willie Brooks - was released and is recovering at home. Richard Burns - back problems. Joanna Cruz - is in ORMC with heart and other medical problems. Paul Griffin - in ORMC recovering from surgery having some set backs. Jane Haynes - recovering at home from knee replacement surgery. Zaquan Knowles - in Flor ida Hospital South having tests for an abscess on his gums. Juanita Parker - is having tests run at the cardiologist and has several upcoming appointments. Linda Vaughn - was released from the hospital on Friday and will be out of work for six weeks.
