Term 4, Week 8, Thursday 28th November 2013 NewslETTER School Captains For 2014 Over the last month the Year 5 students have been busy preparing for all the important roles in Year 6 in 2014. To stand for election of School Captain and Vice Captain in 2014, students were required to place their name for nomination and another student then second the nomination. The student was then required to take the nomination form home to be approved by a parent or care giver. On Tuesday 19th the nominated students delivered a speech to the children from Year 2 to 6. Congratulations to our 2014 Captains; Rose Duncan and Blair MacLachlan, Vice Captains; Brooke Gavan and Zac Fleming. I am looking forward as school captain in 2014, helping all students at Inverell Public School and also representing the school at lots of important events through out the year. At Macintyre High, students had a taste of what to expect in Year7 – participating in Lote (language other than English), PE (physical education), Agriculture, Art and Science. At Macintyre High the children then enjoyed a sausage sizzle for lunch. The students really enjoyed their day at High School.
