Reiley Elementary School SBDM Policy Extra-Curricular Activities _x_ Legally Required Policy __ Additional Policy Topic Extra-curricular programs shall be defined as any program affiliated with Reiley Elementary School meeting or functioning beyond the school day. All students participating in extra- curricular activities will maintain good academic and behavioral standards. District level extracurricular programs will follow district guidelines. Students found not in compliance may be prohibited from any or all participation. Club sponsors and the principal will evaluate each circumstance on an individual basis. Programs Extracurricular programs may include, but are not limited to: Recycling Crew, Girls Basketball Team, Boys Basketball Team, Academic Team, Cross Country Team, Speed Stacking Team, Marathon Club, Drama, Student Council, Lego/Robotics Team, Karate Club, STLP, and Chorus. New programs may be added with the approval of the School Council. Staff members that sponsor an extracurricular program that is not on the District contract for extra duty services may receive a stipend from the School Council/Instructional Budget. The amount will be determined by the district approved stipend. Yearbook coordinator will receive a set amount per year as determined by the SBDM Council (i.e.: $250) to be taken from the Extra- Curricular Activities stipend fund. District level extracurricular programs will be paid for through district funds (STLP, Robotics).

Extra-curricular programs shall be defined as any program affiliated with Reiley Elementary School meeting or functioning beyond the school day. All students participating in extra-curricular activities will maintain good academic and behavioral standards. District level extracurricular programs will follow district guidelines.
