This learning package is designed for Secondary One or Secondary Two Express and Normal Academic students doing Lower Secondary Science, meant for first time learners. Pre-requisite Students should already be able to:
1. (Primary Syllabus) Show an understanding that a current can only flow in a closed circuit
2. (Primary Syllabus) Identify electrical conductors and insulators 3. (LSS Syllabus) Explain what is meant current and potential difference of an electrical
system About This Learning Package This learning package consists of
1. A video on resistance [5 min] 2. A simulation on relationship between current, potential difference and resistance [5
min] 3. Activity questions [5 min]
Possible Misconceptions Students tend to have difficult understanding the following:
1. the concept of resistance and 2. the inverse relationship between resistance and current in a electric circuit when
potential difference is held constant. This lesson aims to help students better understand resistance.
