Summer Bible Study
Many of us struggle in knowing what “to do” during prayer. Come join us for Oremus: A Guide to Catholic Prayer and be inspired to deepen your prayer life while learning how to open yourself to God and receive everything He wants for you in prayer.
Following the Tradition of the Catholic Church and the wisdom of the saints, you will learn how to express yourself to God in prayer, and how to hear his voice. Our 8 week study begins Thursday, July12 at 3 pm or 7 pm. Sign up in church or parish office.

Stewardship for the Week of June 24, 2018
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ Jesus,
Peace and blessings to you and your family!
Aside from my manifest imperfections - it has been a great blessing for me to be priest for Saint Mary, Algoma and Holy Rosary, Kewaunee! Thanks to all who joyfully place faith, hands, and heart into the common good of these parishes! I dare not mention any names, lest many names be left out because of lack of space.
I am especially grateful for the privilege of participating in the Church’s pastoral care for the sick and infirm here in Kewaunee County and beyond. And I have great hopes for our young people who will, God willing, make their part of the world all-the-more holy and happy as they grow and develop in understanding, living, and sharing their Catholic Christian faith!
There is one blessing, in particular, that I have been privileged to witness in these two parishes. And that is the growing use of the faithful Catholic media found on FORMED.ORG (apps available)!
When it comes to naming the primacy of the Catholic Church in our modern world, atheist-turned-Catholic Jennifer Fulwiler sums up, in the FORMED.ORG presentation Convinced, her truth-seeking journey that led her to see there is only one Church with the charism to teach with the uncompromising authority of Christ Jesus:
I saw this over and over again: Christians constantly dis-agreeing about what the Bible says, but they both would be convinced they were right, and they both had Scrip-ture verses to back up their claims. Again, I heard these statements like, ‘Well we Christians can agree to disagree on what our moral code says.’ No, you can’t, because if you say that this God you worship is the source of all that is good, then you do not have the luxury of disagreeing about what is good.
May we all be blessed and engaged with that which is true, good, holy, and right!
Let us all pray for our country, for the world, and for one an-other.
