Volunteers needed We are looking for volunteers to minister Holy Communion to our homebound brothers and sisters. Most of our homebound members watch Mass on TV on Sundays, it would be appropriate for them to receive Communion on a Sunday. If you have few minutes on a Sunday, please contact Fr. Godfrey Musabe at 781-595-7487 or [email protected].
Dear Parishioners,
The Old Testament book of Ecclesiastes chapter 3 verse 11 reads, “God has made everything appropriate to its time, but has put the timeless into their hearts so they cannot find out, from beginning to end, the work which God has done.” I write to you to announce the ending of a time. For the past forty-one years at St. Pius V Parish, and more recently, in collaboration with Holy Family Parish, we have been blessed by a true presence of faithful dedication in our parish collaborative Business Manager, Ms. Eileen Lessard. So, I announce that Eileen has decided to make time for herself and family as she announces her retirement. s our Scripture tells us there has been an appropriate time for everything and God has also filled our hearts with the timeless. Ms. Lessard has been a faithful and dedicated minister within our parishes. Through work in so many ministries, parish and community organizations, and duties Eileen has served at our parishes, she has reminded all of us that God is present and working in our lives. We could never repay her for the countless hours and sacrifices she has made all for the benefit of our parishes. All we can say is, with all the strength from the bottom of our hearts, Thank You! This March Ms. Lessard’s retirement will become effective. While we shall miss her leadership, guidance, council, and wisdom Eileen has brought to our parishes, we celebrate with her a new beginning in her life’s journey. A new beginning, we pray, that is filled with peace, joy, quiet, and laughter. Join me in thanking Eileen for her service to God’s church. Eileen, please know that our parish collaborative is filled with the love and hope of God, because of your challenging work and dedication. May God bless you and may you always know of our deepest gratitude for your faithful service. Peace and Blessings, Fr. Bob
Please take this bulletin with you (and one for a
friend). Any that are left over after Sunday masses,
are thrown out. Thank you.
When our search for happiness, truth, and peace leads us down dark paths we need a night light to guide us back to safety. Jesus is our night light! Night Light is a new Parish Collaborative program that will feature speakers, evenings of music, small group faith sharing series, prayer and more to offer us the guidance of the light of Christ we need along life’s journey. Night Light will present events throughout the year at Holy Family and St. Pius V Parishes Lynn. Upcoming five week Lenten series “Altaration”.
