Something Comforting and Soothing Hi, I’m Marilynne Dickinson. Within my site you will find recordings of prayers for both adults and children that you can pray along to! I creat-ed this website because I was inspired by Fulton Sheen, the pioneer of Catholic audio re-cordings. I was hungry to hear more and more prayers as my husband and I busily worked to raise three beautiful children. (Lynne is a parishioner and an extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion) https://www.journeytojesus.net/
Religious Education and sacramental registrations for the fall are expected to be online by mid July on the church website www.holyfamilynewark.org. Click on Faith Formation tab then click Religious Education. Please read
the cover letter that explains how religious education classes will be held this year.
First Eucharist families reminders
Practice is Wednesday July 15th at 6 pm at the Church. Please re-member social distancing and masks. Liturgies will be held
Saturday, July 18th @ 11 am and 2 pm for small groups per the email you received. We ask the parish to keep our children in your prayers as they prepare for this special day.

Our parish has a group of people who will earnestly pray for any needs you have. This is done anonymously via a telephone prayer chain. If you have a special need for which you are in need of prayer call 738-3033 or 738-5062 before 7:30 p.m. and we will pray for you.

SEAMEN’S CENTER OF WILM. Covid 19 has left all of us feeling isolated...something that seafarers experience routinely. However, now with many crews not allowed to go ashore, we thought it would be great to help relieve the boredom by delivering video games, DVD’s, jigsaw puzzles and adult board games (all the pieces please!) to the ships. If you have items you would like to donate, please shoot us an email at [email protected].
