DEAR HOLY FAMILY PARISHIONERS: This Monday, November 20th, Holy Family parish will celebrate First Reconciliation with our 2nd graders at 6:00 p.m. These young people have been preparing for the last weeks for this very special evening in their lives. They have studied about God’s mercy & love & how they will experience forgiveness. What a time for all of us to discover or rediscover the power of the Sacrament of Reconciliation. What a won-derful opportunity to confess the wrong we have done & seek to hear the words of absolution, absolving us of our sins. We can all be examples to our 2nd graders of peo-ple who see the need to come forward & be reconciled to God & the community. Congratulations to all those celebrating their 1st Rec-onciliation! May each of them know how special they are to Jesus. And special thanks to Mrs. Pat Brinkoetter, 2nd grade teacher at Holy Family Catholic Grade School, & to Mrs. Rita Hogan, 2nd grade teacher in the Holy Family PSR Program, for preparing these young people for this most special evening. ANNUAL CATHOLIC SERVICES APPEAL: This Thursday is Thanksgiving Day, a day to give thanks for the many blessings we have received. God has blessed us in abundance, & we are called to be grateful each & every day. One way we can show our gratitude is by giv-ing back to God through giving to the ACSA. This Cam-paign enables our Diocese to be of service to many through its programs & outreach ministries. We are able to give thanks to God by being a steward of treasure. PLEASE show your gratitude to our Lord by giving back to Him through your generous donation to our Annual Catholic Services Appeal. Holy Family parish needs to pay our assessed goal of $80,088. We need your help!

ANNUAL SCHOOL FUND DRIVE has begun! You should have received a brochure about this most impor-tant Drive. Due to your generosity, our Catholic Grade School continues to provide quality, Catholic education for our young people. PLEASE help us now & into the future by contributing. If you did not get the brochure, there are some on the shelf in the church vestibule. Holy Family Parish has a gem in our School---may all of us help it to shine brightly due to our generous giving!

F.Y.I.: The Building Fund envelope in the Contribution Envelope packets periodically during the year goes to re-pair projects, maintenance issues, etc. Your generous do-nations are much appreciated & needed. Thank you!

THANK YOU to Graceland Fairlawn & Moran & Goebel Funeral Homes for the calendars for 2018. We appreciate their generosity in providing them for us. And we are grateful for all they do for our grieving parish families during the loss of a loved one. Calendars are available in the church vestibule at the exits in the wicker baskets.
