ITINERARY
DAY 1: REACH MALBAZAAR
Pickup from New Maljunction. Malbazar, also known as Mal, is a
sub-divisional town, a municipality in Jalpaiguri district, located
in North Bengal, India. It lies about 65 km from Jalpaiguri and 55
km from Siliguri. Reach malbazaar, check in at hotel &
overnight stay.
DAY 2: SIGHTSEEING | SAMSING SUNTALEKHOLA MURTI RIVER
Samsing is a small hill village and tourist spot in the
Kalimpong subdivision of Darjeeling district of West Bengal,
situated at an elevation of 3000 ft. It is known for its beautiful
landscape with green tea gardens, hills and forests, which attract
a lot of tourists. It lies 18 km from the Neora Valley National
Park. Suntalekhola is a small village and a tourist spot in the
Darjeeling District of West Bengal. The altitude of the place
ranges from 650 to 950 m. It gets its name from a small stream:
Suntaley Khola. In Nepali, Suntaley means orange and khola means
stream. This place is nearly 5 km from Samsing, which is also a
small picturesque serene village. The green patch on the left side
of the way to Suntalekhola is amazing and holds many rarities of
birds and butterflies.
Murti is about 15 km from Lataguri town and about 18 km from
Chalsa. The river Murti flows down from the Kalimpong hills. Murti
is situated besides the same river in the Chapramari forest of
Gorumara National Park. Gharials are found in the river Murti.
Elephants are also known to frequent around the bungalow. As a
result staying outside the bungalow after dark is not advisable.
From your room you can see varied wildlife including Gaur (Indian
Bison) and Deer. Return to hotel after full days sightseeing &
overnight stay at hotel at Malbazar.

DAY 3: SIGHTSEEING | GORUMARA NATIONAL PARK
Gorumara National Park is in the northern West Bengal, India.
Located in the Terai region of the Himalayan foothills, it is a
medium-sized park with grasslands and forests. It is primarily
known for its population of Indian Rhinoceros. The park has been
declared as the best among the protected areas in India by the
Ministry of Environment and Forests for the year 2009.
The four main watch towers,
Jatraprasad Watch Tower: Named after a legendary elephant Rhino
Observation Point: Watch tower in front of the Gorumara forest
bungalow Chandrachur Watch Tower (Old Khunia Watch Tower): Near the
Murti forest bungalow Chukchuki Bird-watching Point: Good for
birding
Out of these you will be visiting two of the watchtowers, one in
the morning and later in the evening where there will be a tribal
dance show. Return to hotel and overnight stay at Malbazar.
DAY 4: SIGHTSEEING | CHAPRAMARI JHALONG BINDU
After your breakfast, move ahead for a sightseeing at
Chapramari, Jhalong, Bindu wildlife national park and
sanctuary.
Jhalong is a hill station is situated near the Indo-Bhutan
border on the banks of the Jaldhaka River, on the way to Bindu.
Jaldhaka Hydro Electricity Project on the Jaldhaka River is a major
attraction in this area. Bird lovers can enjoy a varied collection
of hill birds as well as migratory water fowl here.
Return to hotel and overnight stay at hotel at Malbazaar.

DAY 5: JALDAPARA CHILAPATA
Today early morning, transfer to Chilapata. The Dooars are an
extraordinary choice for the nature lovers and general visitors.
Nestled in the heart of the picturesque Eastern Dooars at the
foothills of the Eastern Himalaya and perched between Buxa Tiger
Reserv and Jaldapara Wildlife Sanctury, lies Chilapata Wildlife
Sanctuary, the most important migration corridor of large
herbivores such as One Horned Rhinos and Asiatic Elephants and an
upcoming eco-tourism destination in Bengal. After safari back to
resort & overnight stay.
DAY 6: RETURN HOME
Today after your breakfast, check out from hotel & transfer
to your station for your train journey towards home.
