In addition to his couture dress designs, David Andersen does a prêt-à-porter collection available in Europe, the US, Russia and China. When asked to define his brand DNA, David Andersen is very exact. “My designs are clean, simple, tailored and Scandinavian modern. I am very proud to be working according to traditional sartorial art, putting a lot of effort into construction and details. I don’t do designs according to fleeting trends, my focus is always on what I believe is beautiful. Furthermore, I always use 100 % natural materials like wool, silk and cotton, as I believe in creating sustainable designs. Thus, I often use textile remains for my creations.”
