Then she moved on to adult fiction. In the Unlikely Event, she pulls a horrifying story from her own young life. Join us on Wednesday, October 18th at 12:30 at the Library! Puzzle Swap is back! Do you like to do puzzles? Have you finished puzzles you own and are looking for new challenges? The Library has puzzles you can borrow. No need to use a library card—just choose a puzzle from the shelves in the non-fiction room and sign your name and write the date on the sign-out sheet provided. Take the puzzle home, enjoy doing it, then bring it back and fill in “date returned”. if you have extra puzzles in perfect condition, you may donate them as well. Have Fun! Reminders!! The Esther Horstmann Award is given for exceptional dedi- cation and service to an individual who has stepped up to help as a volunteer and made the library a better place. This year Amanda Loud has been chosen for recognition!! Amanda, a former trustee, is currently the president of the Friends of the Holderness Free Library. Her hard work helped move the construction forward for the Library addi- tion. She continues to support the Library with her advoca- cy and energy. A Chat with Author Ty Gagne Ty’s exciting book, Where You’ll Find Me: Risk, Decisions, and the Last Climb of Kate Matrosova has been very popular at the Library. Ty, a native of Hold- erness , will come in and talk about this fascinating book and share his experi- ences that led to writing it on Friday, October 20th at 12:30 in the Library Meeting Room.
