HOBBY BOSS 1/350 SCALE USS ALASKA, CB-1 MODEL BY MIKE ASHEY The Battle Cruiser USS Alaska is finished in her measure 32 gray & black shade dazzle pattern. The kit is basically an out of the box build, however some of kit parts such as the 20mm guns and the Seahawk aircraft were replaced with parts from a Tamiya Missouri. In addition, the Mk-8 and MK-37 radars were replaced with Gold Medal Models radars. Testors enamels were used including their dullcoat. The wood base is a plank of hard rock maple stained with Minwax red mahogany stain.
