Understanding the Effects of Stress on a Cancer Diagnosis Being diagnosed with cancer can cause stress levels to increase and seem overwhelming at times. Patients and caregivers can benefit from coping strategies and tools to reduce their stress, providing a greater overall quality of life. This Stress Management workshop provides education and interactive coping mechanisms such as mindfulness, breathing/relaxation techniques, goal setting and more.
