22 April 2013 Do Now: 1. Take out your Independent Reading Unit 1 project and rationale. You will spend the first portion of class viewing one anothers' creative projects in a gallery walk. Happy Earth Day! I hope you all enjoyed your break and are beginning to recover from the events of last week. Today we begin a brand new unit on Lord of the Flies by discussing an example of allegorical writing and discussing some of the larger questions that we will address over the course of the novel.
