These photos are part of a resource called Being a Man Photopack that was developed at the Family Action Centre to focus on positive qualities and diversity among men and to promote a strengths perspective when training workers and teachers.

In the next few slides are images of men in a variety of situations. Use these slides to stimulate your thinking about boys, men and fathers. We will return to this set of photos in the last unit.

Are there commonalities that you can identify? What are the differences between them? What do the photos tell you about the men themselves? How might you take your learning into account if you were to be working with these people as clients?
