候選外務副會長!Proposed Vice-President (External) 葉坤杰 Yip Kwan Kit 文學院 三年級 Bachelor of Arts, Year 3 ＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿ 一年來，香港逐漸步向混沌昏亂，港人生活空間被受壓迫。光怪陸離之事層出不窮，不少人逐漸習以為常，甘作寒蟬或犬儒渡世。社會彌漫著不安、焦躁、憤慨和無力感。回想當日與同行者矢志推倒高牆，同樣感到險阻重重，勝算渺茫。然而，在道路上不斷遇上更多目標一致的人，匯流成川，終竟其功。痛覺自己渺小無力，絕非放棄的理由。 香港大學學生會非指滿額十四人的幹事會，而是一個擁有一萬五千多名會員及一百二十五個屬會的龐大組織。學生會宗旨「團結一致 獨立自主」，次序可謂別有深意。唯有內部團結、目標清晰一致，學生會才能立足於社會，發光發熱。本人深信攘外必先安內，唯有緊密連繫各學生組織，才能將星火燎原，響徹大地。 燎望，懇請大家投下神聖一票，一同與港大學生會邁步向前。 In a year, Hong Kong is gradually brought to a state of instability and anxiety with our lives constantly being pressurised. Looking back at the obstacles faced along the way with my companions in the previous year, I was lucky to meet people with similar goals and aspirations. Together we overcome challenges that I never thought we can make through. I then realise it was ignorant to belittle myself and make excuses for giving up. Seeing the lack of external officials in the current session, I feel obliged to offer help as the acting Current Affairs Secretary. I was impressed by the passion and enthusiasm of the current Ex-co, at the same time concerned about how much manpower was needed to enlarge their voice in responding to current affairs. Therefore, Envision wishes to run for election and contribute ourselves in the Union. Only in unity could the Union achieves the same goal and gains a foothold in the society of Hong Kong. Please cast your vote to Envision, bringing HKUSU to a great new level. !

候選大學事務秘書 Proposed University Affairs Secretary 陳希駿 Chan Hei Chun 工程學院後勤工程及後勤管理 第二部份 Bachelor of Engineering - Logistics and Supply Chain Management, Year 2 ＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿ 經過前年學生會亂局後，學生會百廢待興。 上年光復學生會的行動，是一個開始。 來年，是學生會重回正軌，讓學生會真正代表學生重要的一年！ 我承諾會在當選後用心聆聽會員意見，並向校方切實反映會員意見， 堅持師生共治，爭取校政透明化，提升會員對校政的關注程度，令會員有更多渠道參與及討論校政。 讓我們一起建立一個更完善的港大校園吧！ The year of 2012 was a chaotic year of our Union. The year of 2013 was a new start to the Union. Now, the year of 2014, is a crucial year for the Union to return to the right track, marking a milestone for the Student Union. 候選康樂秘書 Proposed Social Secretary 倪穎嘉 Ngai Priscilla Wing Ka 教育學院 (通識教育) 二年級 Bachelor of Education (Liberal Studies), Year 2 ＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿ 社交活動不應只著眼於提升同學社交生活，更需提升同學社會意識，並使同學與學生會有緊密聯繫，以便學生會運作。 如我當選康樂秘書，首要工作為加強學生與學生會連繫，透過不同類型的社交活動，使學生會與會員更貼近。除了使我們更有效收集其意見，反映意見至學生，亦需讓同學明白他們有責任及權利關注及參與學生會事務。此外，為使康樂活動更具意義，我希望舉辦長期義工計劃及舊區導賞團，加深同學對社會的認識和關注, 對本土文化有更深的了解。 腓立比書 4:13 「我靠著那加給我力量的，凡事都能作。 」 我承諾我會以謙卑和真誠，服務學生會。 Social activities should not only serve the purpose of enhancing social life of students, but also raising their awareness to issues relating to the community they are living in and strengthening the communication between the Union and the members. May I be elected as the Social Secretary, I wish to foster the connection between the Union and students. Union’ affairs shall be made transparent, reachable and understandable by all. Union also has the responsibility to make students understand that they are of concern and shall have the right to participate in union’s affairs. I also wish to bring students concern to social issues such as poverty and heritage preservation, adding more meanings to social events. "Philippians 4:13 I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me." I shall now declare my commitment and determination to serve the Union, with humility and sincerity.!!

候選時事秘書 Proposed Current Affairs Secretary 梁呈謙 Leung Ching Him 工程學院 第二部份 Bachleor of Engineering, Year 2 ＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿＿ 二戰英國首相邱吉爾曾言：「我所能奉獻的別無其他，只有熱血、辛勞、眼淚與汗水。」 前年幹事戀棧權位，終致周年大選風波，為學生會留下不少問題。學生會百廢待興，我有幸與弘曦各人一同成為學生會幹事，於補選後重建學生會。 學生會由港大學生所構成，絕對屬於每位港大學生。學生會亦讓不少同學一展所長，追尋夢想。學生會與學生的連繫唯顯得重要，此亦是每個組織面對的問題。我希望可將時事外務緊密聯繫各位同學。另一方面，我亦計劃加強學生會與屬會的溝通，以達「團結一致」。 上莊一年，眼見學生會重回正軌，本以為可功成身退。惟周年大選過後，時事外務缺人。要重建學生會百年聲譽，學生會外務可謂攸關重要。而初初上莊時，拉近學生會和學生距離之願，仍有頗長的一段路。 Winston Churchill - "I have nothing to offer but blood ,toil, tears and sweat. " Ex-cos from Session 2012 obstructed the term of office of our Executive Committee 2013, leaving many problems to be solved by the union. I am honoured to have a strong team like HKUnite, working for the reconstruction of the union. The Union is composed, and belong to HKU students. This is also a place for students to exhibit their talents and pursue dreams. Like many other associations and societies, the connection between HKUSU and the students is very essential. I wish to bring current affairs and external affairs to the concerns of my fellow students. I also wish to strengthen communication between the union and the sub-organizations, in hopes to achieve unity as stated in the constitution. It was heartening and pleasing to witness HKUSU returning to the right track after a year of office. I thought my service will end with my termination of term. Yet with the lack of external officers in the current committee, I feel obliged to further my duty and take up the responsibility again. External affairs are especially essential for the student union. I wish to continue my commitment and help to strengthen the bonding between students and union. ! !
