Day Itinerary

Day 1

Hong Kong – New Delhi Today afternoon take the Cathay Pacific flight departure from Hong Kong to New Delhi. Arrival to New Delhi at the evening. Our diver and guide will meet you up at arrival hall then transfer to airport hotel. Overnight at selected hotels in New Delhi.

Day 2

New Delhi to Varanasi (B; L; D) After breakfast at hotel, transfer to airport and our guide will accompany you to take the domestic flight to Varanasi. Arrival to Varanasi in the late morning, check in the hotel then start the tour in Varanasi. The first point will be Sarnath. It is a famous place in Varanasi and it is the destination for cultures like Hindu, Buddha and Jain. Sarnath is the place where Gautama Buddha first taught the Dharma then Buddhist Sangha has originated as well as came into existence because of the enlightenment of Kondanna. It is situated at least 13 Km to north-east of Varanasi. There is a village 1 km away from the Sarnath known as the Singhpur where Shreyansanath was born. He was known as the eleventh Tirthankara of Jainism. This is why the Sarnath is also an important pilgrimage site for Jainism. In the early evening, you will experience Aarti on Ghats of Ganges. Varanasi is a sacred and oldest city of the world located at the banks of the holy River Gange. Where, Gange aarti is performed daily in the evening by a group of priests at the Dashashwamedh ghat. Through the aarti, Agni Pooja is performed in which a commitment is made to the Lord Shiva, Mata Gange, Surya, Agni (Fire) as well as the whole universe made by the Lord Shiva. On some special occasions, religious festivals and second day of the week means Tuesdays, a particular type of aarti is held at this ghat. Gange aarti is the magnificent event during evening in the Varanasi that one must not miss to see it. It makes us to experience the great feelings while Gange aarti become in process. This beautiful ritual makes every moment of the evening period special and fills with the spiritual thoughts. It is performed by the brass lamps which accompanied with the mantra chant in the presence of the huge crowd. Dinner and overnight at your selected hotel.

Day Itinerary

Day 3

Varanasi – Jaipur (B; L; D) Today you will wake up earlier to take the boat ride on Ganges, enjoying the city tour and visiting local temples including famous Vishwanath Temple, Hanuman Temple (Monkey Temple) and Bharat Mata Temple Varanasi's principle attraction is the string of bathing ghats, which line the western ghats of River Ganges. The spectacular 4 Km sweep of the Ghats is a unique sight, best viewed at dawn. The boat ride presents an incredible scene as the multitudes of devotees come to the river to pay homage to the Sun God. Pass the bathing ghats where thousands of pilgrims immerse themselves in the holy water of the Ganges River and the burning ghats where cremations are conducted. Then you will return to hotel for a lunch. In the afternoon, our guide will accompany you to take the domestic flight to next famous destination in India – Jaipur. For saving time, we highly recommend you to take the direct flight from Varanasi to Jaipur. One direct flight will be arranged on Mon, Wed & Fri . After arrive to Jaipur, you will transfer to hotel by private coach for dinner and rest. Overnight at your selected hotel.

Day 4

Jaipur (B; L; D) After breakfast at hotel, you will visit Amber fort with Jeep ride, Jantar Mantar and City Place Museum, Water palace & Wind palace (photo stop). Evening visit Lakshmi Narayanan temple. Amber Fort:- situated on a ridge just outside Jaipur city. Maharaja Mansingh, Mughal Emperor Akbar’s most successful General, started the construction of Amber Fort in the 17th century. Before the City Palace was constructed in Jaipur, Amber was the seat of power. The fort is surrounded by fortified battlements and overlooks the Moat Lake. Ruins and remains are spread over the Aravalli hills and sprawling crenellated walls lattice the surrounding area. Jantar Mantar:- a stone astrological and astronomical Observatory built by Maharaja Jai Singh in the 18th century. City Palace: - which has a superb collection of Rajasthani costumes, and armory of Mughals and Rajputs including swords of different shapes and sizes with chiseled handles. Many antiques and artifacts belonging to the ruling family are housed here, including a collection of weaponry. It also has an art gallery with an excellent collection of miniature paintings, carpets, royal paraphernalia and rare astronomical works in Arabic, Persian, Latin and Sanskrit. Day 5

Jaipur – Agra (B; L; D) Today after breakfast, we will have a long driver ( around 6 hours) from Jaipur to Agra. After lunch, you will visit Agra Fort. The guide will tell you the romantic but sad story regarding to Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mahal. Agra Fort: Few forts in the world have a more fascinating story to tell than the Great Fort of Agra, an outstanding example of Mughal architecture and the seat and stronghold of the Mughal Empire under successive generations. Originally planned as an impregnable military str ucture by Akbar, the Agra Fort, over a period of time, acquired all the elegance, lavishness and majesty of an imperial palace. Situated 1 km upstream of the Taj Mahal, on the right bank of the Yamuna, the Agra fort was built under the direction of Akbar, by Mohammed Quasim Khan, his commander-in-Chief and Governor of Kabul and added to by his son Jehangir and grandson Shahjahan. An imposing structure with walls of red sandstone, almost 3 kilometres (two miles) long. Dinner and overnight at your selected hotel.

Day 6

New Delhi (B; L; D) Today early morning, visit the world famous Taj Mahal in sunrise with Saree (Lady) local clothes for gentleman. Taj Mahal (Closed on Friday) : Referred to as one of the wonders of the world, the Taj Mahal in Agra is the epitome of tourism in India and is celebrated for its architectural magnificence and aesthetic beauty. A symphony in white marble, a tribute to eternal love, it was built by the Emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his wife Mumtaz Mahal. There are tombs of Mumtaz and Shahjahan within the mausoleum. Done in white marble, it took 22 years and over 20,000 workers and craftsmen to complete this rhapsody in stone (1630-52 AD). The main structure is set amidst landscaped gardens. While on three sides it is surrounded by high walls, the rear is bound by the river Yamuna. Then return to hotel for breakfast. In the early morning, you will return to New Delhi. (around 4 hours) After lunch in New Delhi, visit Rajghat, India gate, President house (outside), Parliament house (past drive) & Lotus temple (Closed on Monday). Rajghat: Raj Ghat is a memorial that is dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi. The ghat is located in the banks of River Yamuna. It is a black marble platform that is built at the spot of cremation of Mahatma Gandhi, the father of the nation. India Gate: War Memorial Arch, the Rashtrapati Bhawan – the President’s Residence, the Parliament House – the Government headquarters and other Government buildings and Connaught place area. Parliament House: The domed circular central hall with oak paneled walls and the three semicircular buildings are used for the Rajya Shabha and Lok Shabha meetings.

President House: The Rashtrapati Bhavan or the 'President's House or the 'Presidential Palace' was Lutyens' and Baker's inspired Imperial architecture that was made to be the residence of the Viceroy and Governor General of India during the British Rule. Formerly known as the 'Viceroy's House' up till 1950, this structure speaks volumes of a classical design that cohesively blended with both western and Indian styles depicting architectural excellence that marked the identity of Delhi and the seat of the Government of India in today's modern ambience. Lotus Temple: The structure is made up of pure white marble The architect Furiburz Sabha chose the lotus as the symbol common to Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism and Islam. Adherents of any faith are free to visit the temple and pray or meditate. **Temple is closed on Monday.** Before return to Hong Kong, we will arrange a room to you for wash and change. After dinner drive to airport to board the flight to Hong Kong.
