Hitachi Transport System found it’s origins in 1950 when Hitachi decided to launch there own logistics
department, since then Hitachi Transport System evolved to a logistics service provider with global
coverage specialized in a wide range of logistic services.
In 1989 Hitachi Transport System Europe was founded and opened their first office in Germany.
Currently HTS Europe has 185 employees and operate 15 offices in 8 countries across Europe.
The total Hitachi Transport System group consists of nearly 27,497 employees with 425 offices
operating 120 warehouses (3.06 million m2) spread out over 18 countries on 4 continents and a
combined turnover of 6.4 billion Euro.
