Power Magazine Top Plant of the Year - 2009
2009 Power Magazine Top Plant Award
In 2006, Hitachi Power Systems America, Ltd. was awarded an EPC
contract through the competitive bidding process by Seminole Electric
Cooperative, Inc. (SECI) for the SCR System retrofit on both Units 1 and 2
(750MW each) located in Palatka, Florida. As a non-profit cooperative,
Seminole seeks the most cost effective solution to meet its long-term
objective of environmentally friendly and sustainable operation. Seminole
decided installing these SCR Systems would be the best option to meet
the Clean Air Interstate Rule requirements……..
