“The claim of those who are most insistent on the retention of Professor Willett, as a representative teacher, on the Centennial program, is on the ground of what they are pleased to call “liberty”; that is, “liberty” to teach their own conceits, whether in accord with the word of God or not.
That the brethren may keep fresh in mind precisely what they mean by the word “liberty,” we reproduce a few specimens of their teaching, as copied from their own official organ….”
