What is Historical literacy ?
Historical literacy is an ability to read, write, and
think critically about the past and ability to obtain
appropriate and useful information regardless to the
past events From a variety of resources and engaging
in historical processes
negotiate and create the types of texts that historians
use and produce.

•better jobs
•higher wages
This is because they are become more knowledgeable
and expertise and be able to take advantage of the
opportunities that the life may offer them and they will
meet the life objectives effectively.
How can we become historical literacy ?
it requires particular kinds of reading and writing
strategies that are critical to students being and help
him to become creators , careful readers, and good
questioners.
They have to learn and ask specific kind of questions
about places, times and evidence to have more mature
understanding of the nature of historical inquiry
