The ship had just returned from operation in the Mediterranean Ocean using a different satellite and Teleport services. The Seatel antenna tracking system was changed back to operation on Satmex 5 but was not tracking correctly. Major reported symptom was an AGC level lower than the Threshold level. DAC 2200 was due to be replaced under warranty. The original controller had a faulty on/off power switch. The ship left for the Mediterranean Ocean before a replacement could be delivered, so the change out occurred as soon as the ship returned to Woods Hole as part of the regular maintenance visit.
