PRESIDENT’S MESSAGE

Dear Brothers, Sisters and loving young friends,

Jai Shree Ram!

The month of September gone by was extremely SPECIAL, as we had a wonderful Family Get-

Together to celebrate our Fund Raiser Event on Sat, the 28th of September. The entire Hari Om

Parivar got together to raise Funds for ongoing Projects and the Future Growth of the temple.

With the GENEROUS DONATIONS from all our esteemed Guests & Members of the HOM

Parivar, we raised $80,750. My Heartfelt & Sincere THANKS to ALL the Devotees who

attended the Program and contributed with open hearts.

I would also like to congratulate the Chairman, Fund Raising Committee Mr. Anil Saxena & his

Team, for putting up a Grand Program. The Venue & Décor, The Entertainment, The Food, The

Prizes etc etc. were all very well organized and highly appreciated by everybody. The Emcees of

the Evening, Mrs. Mona Sharma and Mrs. Sangeeta Wadhera did a great job of motivating the

people to keep the Donations flowing in….The lead singers of the day, Shaila Khedkar &

Jitendra Bulsara and Mihir Acharya regaled the audiences with their melodious singing, and

there was not a dull moment.

We also had the opportunity to listen to some beautiful melodious Bhajans by Shreelekha

Mohanty, on Sunday, the 22nd of Sept. We are surely blessed to have 3 learned Priests in our

temple now, who enlighten us with their Pravachan and Bhajans during the regular Sunday

Congregations. Acharya Ramnaresh Vajpayee’s Katha on episodes from The Ramayana is very

much appreciated and enjoyed by all the devotees.

As we are approaching the year end, we are also looking forward to celebrating the much

awaited Navratre, Diwali and Karva Chauth Festivals. As always, we shall be making special

arrangements for the Ladies to have the Katha & Pooja for their special Day of Fasting.

The 5th Sunday of the month is dedicated to Baba Balak Nath, and thus, on the 29th of

September, we had a special Baba Ji Ka Bhandara with “Rot” Prasad and a sumptuous Lunch by

the Sponsors Ashok Sharma & Family. Bunty Bawa from California, is an ardent Bhakt of Baba

Balak Nath, and he joined the Sunday Congregation to sing the glory of Baba Ji!

I would like to invite you all to join us for two Mata Ki Chowki Programs during this Navratre

Season. Bunty Bawa will be with us on Tue, 10/01 and again on Sat, 10/05 to sing Mata Ki

Bhente for Special Jagran during these Navratres. Do Not Miss the golden opportunity to seek

Ma Ki Blessings during these Pious Nine Days!!!

Last but not the least, I owe a BIG THANK YOU to all my TEAM Members – EB and BOT for

their continued Support and Help in the smooth functioning of the Temple. Day-to-day activities

and all the Special Events – Festivals & Functions are not possible to organize without them.

Also I want to Thank ALL the Devotees / Visitors to the Temple for cooperating with us for the

inconvenience caused due to the construction work in the temple. The project has been delayed a

little because of unforeseen circumstances...I truly apologize for that.
