Select “Camera Settings” in theIVMS4200 software
Select “Device settings” to configure the DDNS settings
Select “Network” to configure the DDNS settingsSelect “DDNS” to configure the settings
Go to www.hik-online.com to configure the DDNS settings
Select “advanced” to configure the DDNS settings
Enter the Gateway DNS(Router IP) here
Tick Enable DDNS and select HKDDNS
Enter Device Name that you created atwww.hik-online.com

PART 1-C Setup DDNS server address in IP camera through IE
1. Access the IP camera using internet explorer, http://IP:Port/config, example http://172.28.1.59:81/config
2. Go to [Network settings] and [Network Settings] – [Advance] make sure IP address, subnet mask, gateway, DNS are filled in correctly according to your network environment.
Setting up DDNS using IVMS4200 version 2 Network Software
Enter the “Device Managment” menu(if you do not see this option tab you will find it in the “Control Panel” tab)
Select the device to edit
Select “Remote Config” option
Enter the information in the same way as using Version 1.3 software
Creating the DDNS account for Hikvision Products(once you create aHikvision DDNS account you can add as many DVRs etc as you like)
Go to www.hik-online.com on a PC or MAC browser
Create a new Hikvision DDNS account(you will be able to add and manageas many Hikvision DVRs, NVRs and IPcameras as you like form this oneaccount)
Click add device to add a new DVR,NVR or IP camera to your DDNS account
Add your DVR details hereDevice name can be anything.
Serial No can be easily found using theIVMS4200 software if you have alreadyadded DVR to the local Network(see instructions below)Serial can also be found on the DVR MenuMenu-Maintenence-System info The Port number is usually 8000
How to find the serial number
Connect to you DVR on your localNetwork using IVMS4200 client softwareSelect “Device Management” (click on “view if youdo not see Device Management tab)
Copy the serial number from hereand paste it into the DDNS field inthe Hikvision DDNS web site asshown above
If you see error warning, removeany unsupported characters fromthe serial number eg: /
