Returning to work

Juniper medically cleared!

Ensuring a safe return to work for our residents is a

critical task. You’ll be pleased to know that Westlite

Juniper has now been medically cleared. Under the strict

new guidelines set by MOM for returning workers, we

have been diligently putting together the processes and

procedures that will allow those residents approved to

return to work, a safe passage to and from the dormitory.

It’s really been all hands on deck, and we must pay a

special mention to the Westlite and Centurion staff

working on the ground. In a matter of days they have

pulled together collaterals, training videos, run training

seminars and the list goes on. With help from HQ staff

(hosting some training) our residents are quickly being

brought up to speed on the new requirements for safe

movement to and from their workplace.

What do residents need to know?

With MOM rolling out 3 new mobile

applications to assist in monitoring and

tracking, it is compulsory for all residents to

have downloaded these by Friday 19th June,

as well as MyMA in order to be able to

return to work. This week we have been

holding training seminars and creating video

guides on how to download these apps, how

to register your details, and how to use the

apps when moving about from leaving their

unit, through the various checking points, to

their workplace and back to their unit.

SGWorkPass, TraceTogether, FWMOMcare

and MyMA will provide critical tracking and

monitoring data to dormitory operators,

employers and the government to ensure

our healthy residents returning to work, stay

Healthy and COVID-free.

How does a resident know they

can return to work?

By downloading the SGWorkPass

app and registering their details,

residents will be able to check their

working status. Over the page show

more of the detail and description of

how the residents will use the apps.

COMPULSORY APPS

Our New MyMA app has checklist

which provides auto-detection

feature of all 3 mandatory MOM

mobile, (FWMOMCare,

TraceTogether, SGWorkPass) If

residents have not downloaded

one or all of the apps, or switched

on your Bluetooth, a big red cross

appears. The resident will then be

able to scan their work pass,

enable Bluetooth, and or install

the apps directly from the

checklist screen. Once all

sections show a green tick, the

resident is ok to leave their unit.

See youtube video:

Residents will first need to

download or update the new

MyMA app. When they login to

the app, the front page will

display a new status feature. W-

Safe indicates that the resident is

safe to go out working. A C-Safe

status means the resident is

clear of COVID but cannot yet go

out to work their work site.

The MyMA team have been

working hard in the background to

build additional features on the

app which, will simplify the use of

all three MOM mandated apps.

With the added features residents

will be able to seamlessly check

their working status to know if they

are safe to go to work or not.

There is also now, an interactive

checklist that reminds residents to

download the 3 mandated apps

which are critical for movement

tracking.

SGWorkPass

Designed to allow

checking of work

status.

TraceTogether

Once Bluetooth is

activated, contact

tracing is enabled

for all of the

residents.

FWMOMCare

MOM will receive

daily reporting of

health status,

location and mobile

number.

Residents will need to scan

their work pass at the back or

with the SGWorkPass app QR

code to show their “Go Work”

or “Cannot Work” status.

Residents will also need to use

the MyMA app to scan QR

codes at all of the access

points in the dorm including

Rooms, lifts, turnstile, gate

entry/exit points. Given that the

residents mainly use MyMA

app for daily use, the checklist

feature will ensure the highest

rate of compliance in

downloading the three apps,

and simplify the daily use of

these apps from the MyMA

home screen.

IN-ROOM ENTERTAINMENTNumber Pattern Challenge!

After last week’s spot the difference

challenge the residents played a numbers

game this week. The response was

overwhelming, with the most entries for a

contest we’ve seen so far. Thanks all for

playing

This Week’s Daily Activities

We kept the excitement going this week with more

challenging activities for the residents to keep

themselves occupied with. Some residents even sent

their answers in to the contest phone, curious to know if

they got the answers right. You’ll be interested to know

that contests and activities haven’t just been a one-way

push of information out. Two way conversations have

been had with many residents, who often want to strike

up a conversation. We’ve enjoyed the opportunity to

interact all be it briefly.
