From the period of 2014-2016, the peak of enrolment was in 2015 at 2,281,389. The highest
number of graduates was registered in 2016 with a total of 2,151,236. From 2014-2016 the average completion rate of TVET learners is 92%.
On 2014-2015, the Enrollment has increased by 247,972. However, from 2015-2016 the
Enrollment increase was only 11,724. As for the Graduates, from 2014-2015 there is an increase of 344,079 and only 21,478 increase from 2015-2016. Possible reason for the shortfall in 2016 is the change in the scholarship guidelines which required first the technical audit of TVIs prior to awarding of scholarship grants.
