Dec ‘13 • UK Partnership Agreement (including Scottish Chapter) submitted to European Commission for negotiation

Now – Jun ‘14 • SG prepare detailed Operational Programmes, setting out eligible activities, to be negotiated with European Commission

• Strategic Development Partnerships work with delivery agents• HIEP develops detail of Integrated Territorial Investment (ITI)

with SG• Development of internal plans • Some new EU programmes commence (eg Erasmus for All;

Horizon 2020)

2nd half of ‘14 • Commencement of new ESI programmes in Scotland and H&I

1. Internal development of UHI 2020 Plan and portfolio of strategic projects, embedding them in core business – for European Strategic Initiatives and other EU programmes in Research & Innovation and Education & Training

2. Progress plan with Scottish Government, Scottish Funding Council, Skills Development Scotland, Highlands & Islands Enterprise

3. Participate in development of regional Integrated Territorial Investment (ITI)
