A starlit dinner right inside the vineyards will give you the chance to immerse yourself in the ancient farmers’ tradition and live an ex-perience of the senses, soaking up the air, the colors, the flavors and the smells of the countryside. Other than enjoying a delicious typical dinner of local products and dishes, you will be surrounded by the splendid and charming landscape made of vineyard rows, which so quaintly characterize the Chianti region. The dishes that you will taste, all made of fresh local products, are the fruit of the hard work and care for the land that local pro-ducers have been exercising for centuries. Do you fancy an unforgettable experience in the most impressive places in Tuscany? Join us and visit wonderful cities, taste the best wines, cheeses and typical products in one single day. The tour begins with a visit of a cellar in Montalcino where you will taste a sampling of wines produced with a delicious snack consisting of local products. In the afternoon, one of our brilliant tour leaders will show you around Montalcino, where you will visit the typical village and its fortress. Then you will visit Pienza and Montepulciano, two artistic jewels, representing the landscape of Val d’Orcia. Pienza is a perfect combination of architectural beauty and harmony. Most of the numerous lanes bearing impressive names overlook the breathtaking landscape of Val d’Orcia. Unique tastes, smells and flavours support this natural and artistic heritage. Pienza’s most renowned tradition is in fact the typical Pecorino cheese. The tour ends with the visit to Montepulciano where the stateliness of its Renaissance buildings and the refined beauty of its churches intertwined with the ancient tradition of its wine, Nobile di Montepulciano, symbol of the city as well as delight of your palate. You will taste it in a local winery. After you’ll take the bus and start to go back to Siena.

The first part of our day will be dedicated to the territory of Siena and starts with a visit of San Gimignano, the city of a hundred towers and also a UNESCO World Natural and Cultural Heritage site. Our tour escort will give you all of the necessary information for en-joying your free time in the town’s historical centre, where you will find local artisan shops and millenarian palazzos. San Gimignano is also the birthplace of Vernaccia, a white wine produced exclusively here, famous for its high quality and also for being the first Italian DOCG wine. From here we will go to Monteriggioni, the ancient crown-shaped fortress that adorned the head of Italy on the hold 100 lire currency. The same walls, which date back to the 12th Century, are endowed with 14 tours that Dante likened to the Giants of Inferno on his Divine Comedy. After a brief visit we will relax at a Chianti winery for a lunch of salami, cheeses and other local products, accompanied by a tasting of Chianti wines. Our day continues with a trip to Val d’Orcia, another jewel in the Tuscan territory and a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2004. We will travel to Montalcino, which from its hill dominates the 1500 hectares of Brunello vineyards that have contributed making the area world-famous. Our last stop will be in a local wine cellar where we will taste the renowned Brunello of Montalcino, which finds its place among the first Italian DOCG wines. We will visit the wine cellar and also taste typical local products.

How about a change of scenery? A little bit of fresh air, a light breeze and the possibility to see Tuscany from a different perspective. Ride your electric bike under the guidance of an expert tour leader and enjoy this wonderful experience riding across the Chianti country-side. You will be picked up from your accommodation the centre of Siena and taken to the Chianti where the adventure will start. From here, you will ride your bike through beautiful olive groves and past fertile vineyards, you will see and visit Chianti castles and hillside villa estates until you stop for a light lunch at a local Chianti winery, where you will taste some of the local wines. Participants are requested to be at the meeting point 15 minutes before the start of all tours, and to please wear comfortable sport clothing. The tour runs rain or shine. Only in case of heavy rain the tour will not operate. This will be decided upon departure and customers are asked to check in at meeting point in any case, in order to claim for reimbursement. Should heavy rain happen during the tour, a minivan support will be provided.
