In the spirit of the Gospel, we are committed to educate the whole person; to lead and to serve, enlightening the mind, developing the body, touching the heart and inspiring the soul.

t. Vincent-St. Mary High School is a four-year, co-educational, college preparatory Catholic high school. In 1972, St. Vincent-St. Mary High School was formed when St. Vincent High School (1906) and St. Mary High School (1897) merged, combining longstanding traditions to create a rich heritage for STVM.

When you choose St. Vincent-St. Mary High School, you are joining a family who will guide you in learning, growing and being your best. STVM provides you with a strong academic foundation that will ensure success through college, throughout your career and beyond. We look forward to helping you grow and flourish in your Catholic faith.

STVM is governed by our Board of Trustees, in cooperation with the administrative team, faculty, parents, and support organizations and operates with the blessing and guidance of the Diocese of Cleveland. We meet all standards of the Ohio Catholic School Accrediting Association, AdvancED/North Central Association of Schools and Colleges and the Ohio Department of Education. STVM is the only STEM-designated Catholic high school in Ohio. In June 2017, the Marianist Province of the United States welcomed STVM as a Marianist-sponsored school. Aligning with the mission of STVM, the Marianists are focused on community building, social justice outreach and diversity.

n June 2017, the Marianist Province of the United States officially announced its sponsorship of St. Vincent- St. Mary High School, uniting us with a network of three universities, 18 secondary and middle schools, six parishes and four retreat centers. The lived reality of Marianist spirituality, springing from the foundational charism of William Joseph Chaminade, is to educate for formation in faith, to provide an integral, quality education, to educate in family spirit, for service, justice, and peace, and for adaptation and change.

wenty-first century learning is the focus of STVM’s academic program. Our teachers set college-ready expectations for students to equip them with college-ready skills. We are proud to announce that as of June 2017, STVM is in the only STEM-designated Catholic high school in Ohio. Our goal is to inspire students to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively in a welcoming, challenging environment.

To meet the educational needs of all students, we offer a wide range of curricular levels: advanced placement, honors, college preparatory and special needs. Our faculty and staff work collaboratively with students each day to provide a core academic curriculum, which responds to the needs and personality of each student. The rigorous and relevant coursework will prepare students for college and the experience will prepare them for life.
