Thank You for Attending Our
2014-2015 Homecoming!
Welcome to the 2014-2015 Tina-Avalon
Homecoming. Tonight we will crown one
Homecoming Attendant chosen from the Freshman
and Sophomore classes and one Homecoming
Queen chosen from the Junior and Senior classes.
This year’s theme for Homecoming is Classic.
T h e th em e s o n g i s “ C la s s i c ” by
MKTO. The Student Council and their
sponsor, Mrs. Rene Trussell, have worked very hard
to make this year’s homecoming a huge success.
We would like to extend an invitation for you to
attend the dance that follows tonight’s games.
There will be snack food served in the kitchen
during the dance, courtesy of the Tina-Avalon
OPTS. Music for the Homecoming dance will be
provided by Mike Stone of KMZU Radio Station. The
cost to attend the dance is $3 per person or $5 per
couple.
Snapshot pictures of the group will be taken
immediately following the coronation in front of
the stage. Formal pictures will be taken in the
library by Daniels Studio of Hale. Pictures may be
purchased at that time.
The Student Council would like to thank
Lauhoff Jewelry for donating the tiaras for the
coronation.
Mrs. Susan Rucker, yearbook advisor, would like
to thank Barb Daniels of Daniels Studio and Alvin
Hoppe, a dedicated alumni of the Tina-Avalon
school, for all the pictures they take for the
students and yearbook staff. The pictures are
greatly appreciated! Mrs. Rene Trussell would also
like to thank Barb for volunteering to take the
pictures of the candidates that are on the wall and
Community Press for printing them.

Sportsmanship
These are high school athletes who are
performing here tonight. They are friendly rivals as
members of opposing teams. They are not enemies.
This, basically, is the theme of interscholastic
athletics… the idea of friendly competition. The visiting
team tonight, and in every interscholastic game, is a
guest of the home team. They are expected to be so
regarded and so treated.
The attitude of sportsmanship should be reflected
by all spectators as well, no matter what their personal
feelings of loyalty may be to one of the other teams in
tonight’s game.
