WIND CLIMATE ASSESSMENT
Based on the results of these analyses and subsequent discussions, for Mumbai, RWDI recommends using a 50-year return period Basic Wind Speed (3-seconds gust) of 44 m/s for load calculations. For acceleration predictions, RWDI recommends using a 10-year Basic Wind Speed (3-seconds gust) of 32.5m/s.
