EMI FILTERSAVX EMI feed-through filters provides effective filtering of RF to microwave frequencies through bulkheads whilstproviding a hermetical seal. They are ideal for high impedance circuits where large capacitance values are notpractical. Splash-proof Appliance Inlets with Line Filter and Fuseholder

The use of laboratory equipment in a medical environment is, among other factors, restricted by “clean” performance of an

appliance. In order to prevent ingress of humidity or dirt during cleaning, appliance openings (if any) must be sealed. The seal

tightness is defined and tested according to IP protection classes. SCHURTER offers appropriate solutions for various features and

mounting options.

Power Inlet Modules with Medical Filter

Laboratory equipment in medical environments are often operated without a ground conductor. In such cases, potentially hazardous

leakage currents can occur. That is why there are statutory limits on leakage currents to ensure reliable operation. SCHURTER medical

Polysnap Power Inlet Modules

With over 26,000 combinations Bulgin’s Polysnap mains power inlet modules offer a very adaptable and flexible solution to panel design.

Polysnap allow combinations of mains inlets and outlets, filtered inlets, switches, fuseholders, voltage selectors and indicators mounted in

either horizontal or vertical format bezels ready for quick snap-fit assembly. The compact design occupies the minimum of panel area and

a single rectangular mounting hole, offering easy installation.

To complement Polysnap the Polyflange range offers a flange fixing alternative for designers who prefer the security of screw fixing.

Filters

Designed to reduce conducted mains borne EMI, this extensive range provides many solutions to EMI problems. To meet individual design

requirements the filters are available with two attenuation options – standard and medical. Current ratings are from 1 to 10 amps with single

or twin fused types also available. The choice of mounting options will suit most applications with flange, snap to panel or base/bulkhead.

Switches

Bulgin’s extensive range of vandal resistant security switches are designed with a high resistance to wear and tear, corrosion and harsh use in

potentially hostile environments such as access control applications. The front and rear panel mounted versions have three profiles – prominent,

domed and low profile – with a choice of switching and IP66 & IP68 front panel sealing which combined together to meet the ergonomic, electrical

and environmental demands of switch panel design.

Newer versions also feature LED illumination with rear of panel sealing, adding that extra dimension to control panel layouts and functionality.

The standard range of vandal resistant switches are complemented by a range of 16mm stainless steel switches of robust construction designed

for use in applications where space is at a premium.
