A popular county wide programme of free short, regular walks led by trained volunteers and graded to suit all fitness levels and abilities.

Hertford Health WalksWalks take placethroughout the town all year round, on aweekly basis, includingevenings during the Summer.

Why walk?• a great way of meeting new people - most

walks finish near local facilities for a drink and a natter

• a chance to get outside in your local green spaces and countryside – helping to combat stress, depression and anxiety

• brisk walking helps reduce the risk of diabetes, Alzheimer's, bowel cancer and can help prevent osteoporosis, high blood pressure, stroke and coronary heart disease
