1. I Can't Have Herpes!

“1 out of 6 people (ages 14-49) have genital Herpes” -CDC

According to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), one-sixth of young and middle-age adults have HSV2 which is one of three common types of Herpes:

Herpes Simplex Virus 1 or HSV1 (Cold Sores)Herpes Simplex Virus 2 or HSV2 (Genital Herpes)Herpes Zoster Virus (Chickenpox and Shingles)

By adulthood, almost everyone in the U.S. has had Chickenpox. Once you've had Chickenpox, the virus stays in nerve cells where it can later cause painful bands of blisters called Shingles. This is why it is said that most everyone has Herpes.

Most everyone has Herpes because Chickenpox is a Herpes virus that hides in nerves and can erupt again as Shingles.

So, yes, you CAN have Herpes because most everyone does.

What is a virus? No one really knows. How do we get them? No one really knows that either. Where do they come from? You got me there.

Neither my colleagues nor I asked any of those questions in medical school and, like most students, we just accepted that viruses are part of normal life on earth and that cannot be rid of by any prescription drug.

I can tell you what a virus is not. A virus is NOT a living organism. It does not breathe, it does not reproduce on its own and it does not produce wastes. It does not meet any of the qualifications of what it means to be “alive”.

A virus looks and behaves like a tiny bio-computer. It is a simple protein “envelope” that houses a “program” that is systematically injected into a living cell. The genetic machinery of the host cell is then taken hostage to make more viruses. Pretty insidious.

Money and science never mix. In for-profit medicine, drug companies and healthcare providers benefit from never-ending treatments of never-ending symptoms of never-ending illnesses. For this simple reason, I remain a skeptic of any claim that a disease without a known cure can not be stopped or reversed, hence the company statement for DOC WISE LLC: “Natural Solutions for Conditions Touted to Have No Remedy”.

The HSV dragon can be tamed and immobilized (suppressed). Rather than worry about having a dreaded virus that most everyone else has anyway (even though not everyone has it surface on the genitals), let's get to the business of finding the weak spots of that dragon and pierce some serious arrows in the chinks of its armor.

The FIRST line of defense is RED-TOP.

2. Red-Top: First Line of Defense

The Herpes virus is NOT invincible any more than is a dragon with scales, fire and strength in its sheer size.

The first weak spot of the Herpes virus is its protein coat – the envelope that contains its infectious payload. Think of this as the scales of a dragon's skin. A wide range of plant oils have been demonstrated to effectively destroy the protein coat of any type of Herpes virus. No scales or weakened scales = no payload.

The second weak spot of any Herpes virus is its DNA or RNA payload that it uses to control the host cell's genetic machinery (this is akin to a dragon's “fire”).

The third weak spot of the Herpes virus is its ability to make itself appear strong by replicating itself in host cells until the impregnated cells rupture and release innumerable viruses (this is like a dragon's strength due to its size).

To recap, three strategies to neutralize Herpes are:

Essential plant oils are fragrant chemicals made in different plant parts to protect the plant from a wide variety of diseases. These powerful chemicals are the germ warfare agents of the plant world.

Herp-B-Gone (HBG) Red-Top balm is a blend of essential plant oils clinically demonstrated by various scientists to inactivate or directly kill the Herpes virus as follows:

Inactivation of the HSV1 and HSV2 virus coat (Saddi, 2007; Schnitzler, 2001).

Direct killing effect on all types of HSV (Garozzo, 2009; Koch, 2008; Schnitzler, 2008).

Red-Top is a therefore a carefully-formulated blend of powerful plant aromatic oils that synergistically work to attack Herpes on multiple fronts. It is not formulated to “dry” an outbreak – and in fact it can make it temporarily more “wet” by the direct-killing effect of Herpes viruses. The immune system's white blood cells will, within 24 hours, begin to remove the dead and dying viruses (and this may cause some temporary discomfort). So if you want something simply to dry an outbreak, Red-Top is not for you! If you want to stop Herpes dead in its tracks, it is.

Herpes hides in nerves, and when the virus is activated (by stress which includes hormone cycle changes, menstruation and sun exposure) it replicates and travels down the nerve to surface on

the skin where the nerve terminates – such as around the lips as in HSV1 mouth sores. The activated infection in the nerves causes pain, itching, tingling and burning – which signal that an outbreak is about to blister on the skin (blisters contain infectious newly-replicated viruses).

While HSV1 and HSV2 tend to reside in nerves, both can infect ANY region of the body – especially the mouth and reproductive fluids. Three conclusions are drawn here:

1.) Females are at greater risk of shedding the virus during menstruation.

2.) Menopausal females are a low risk of transmitting the virus.

3.) Males who ejaculate and then have repeat intercourse with their partner are at risk of directly reinfecting themselves.

HSV likes to reside in the nutrient-rich prostate fluid (semen). Over 30 researchers have published studies that demonstrate how the presence of Herpes in semen is associated with increase risk of HSV transmission and male infertility as follows:

Most people think that just because they do not have blisters on the skin they are not infectious. This common misunderstanding is perhaps why HSV is so common today and rapidly spreading.

It is natural for anyone to want to live life on their terms without risking the rejection and social stigma of telling a sexual partner that they have HSV and rationalize that as long as they are outbreak-free there is no risk of transmission.

Because HSV is found in body fluids (mouth and reproductive organs), the risk of transmission in the face of no outbreak should now be obvious. This is why Herp-B-Gone Sensual Lube Green-Top balm was developed – to decrease this risk of transmission between sexual partners.

The SECOND line of defense is GREEN-TOP.

3. Green-Top: Second Line of Defense

While none of us gets out of life alive, we would all benefit from a long healthy life without another Herpes blister!

Both HSV1 (cold sores/fever blisters) and HSV2 (genital Herpes) can be sexually transmitted by mouth-to-genital and genital-to-genital contact, and the rates of cross-infection are rising every year. One of the reasons for the rising rates is that many people with genital Herpes never have an outbreak but only experience itching and tingling and so do not even know that they have HSV.

Green-Top was formulated with more wax than Red-Top. This makes it more waterproof and therefore the choice for cold sores and use as a sensual lubricant.

Red-Top and Green-Top work in synergy. The different oils in Green-Top compliment the oils in Red-Top by attacking HSV in different ways. For example, Green-Top has castor bean oil, which is strongly anti-HSV and is also an excellent lubricant. This makes Green-Top a "second line of defense".

Both Red-Top and Green-Top balms are recommended for daily use during outbreaks and first sign of outbreak symptoms (itching and tingling). Both are safe for long-term use every day for prevention and suppression of an outbreak.

All of the ingredients in Red-Top and Green-Top are natural plant oils except BHT – a synthetic chemical that is listed as GRAS (Generally Regarded As Safe) by the FDA for use in foods and balms as a preservative.

Red-Top and Green-Top both contain oils that are some of the most powerful natural penetrants, drawing the anti-Herpes ingredients in both balms into the tissue below the skin into the underlying dermis where the virus hides and surfaces in the peripheral nerve endings. Cadaveric studies (on dead bodies) have demonstrated that lemongrass oil, for example, is one of the most powerful plant penetrants delivering the payload of the Red-Top balm through the skin to the tissues below the skin. Green-Top does not contain lemongrass oil because it is formulated as a lubricant rather than a penetrant. For this reason, in very rare cases of sensitive skin where Red-Top is not tolerated due to an uncomfortable “burning” sensation, Green-Top is readily tolerated.

Both Red-Top and Green-Top are suitable for Shingles. Both balms also help heal hard-to-treat cystic acne, boils and infected insect bites.

Red-Top and Green-Top ingredients are non-toxic and can be applied safely to affected area (including intra-vaginal and intra-rectal application) with or without signs of outbreaks (BUT NOT FOR USE IN EYES!). One or both may be applied as often as needed with early signs of outbreak (itching, tingling and burning sensations) and continued until symptom-free.

Due to activation of the immune system's white blood cells that are mobilized to remove dead and dying viruses, some people may experience increased swelling, redness and pain. This is called a “Herxheimer reaction” or “healing crisis” caused by blood vessels having become “leaky” to allow white blood cells to exit the arteries to clean up the debris. Therefore, symptoms may worsen before they improve. This is actually a good sign although no one wants to hear that when they are hurting. Simply stop treatment until symptoms improve then start treatment again. For best results, continue treatment for at least four weeks after symptoms improve (Red-Top and Green-Top).

The oils in Red-Top and Green-Top can stain synthetics; this is avoided by waiting for the balm to be absorbed before putting on clothes or sleeping on sheets (Red-Top absorbs more quickly). Pre-soak any stains with any liquid detergent and wash as usual.

Because Herpes viruses lie dormant in nerve cells and body fluids, it is difficult to eradicate through the skin. Herpes likes to reside much deeper than just the nerve endings and for this reason Blue-Top was formulated to combat Herpes from the inside.

The THIRD line of defense is BLUE-TOP.

4. Blue-Top: Third Line of Defense

The third and and most effective long-term strategy to confuse and immobilize the dragon is to make its den an uninhabitable place. This again requires color-rich compounds made by certain plants to ward off various infectious diseases.

Blue-Top, the third line of defense against Herpes, is an offensive rather than a defensive strategy. Blue-Top plant compounds provide a direct assault against the Herpes virus and any chronic intracellular microbe that uses the DNA machinery inside human host cells to replicate itself.

New research reveals that active Herpes infections involve activation of the JNK gene that is linked with the nucleus of human cells. Herpes viruses infect human cells and stimulate those cells to turn on the DNA replication machinery via the JNK pathway. In this way, HSV uses human host cell DNA to replicate itself.

Any kind of stress activates the JNK gene. When the JNK gene is turned on, the DNA replication mechanism is also activated (the JNK gene is part of the replication machinery). This is why stress (emotional, environmental or hormonal) can trigger a Herpes outbreak.

Blue-Top is specifically formulated to suppress this activated JNK pathway with a combination of plant flavonoids (pigments) that compliment one another. The result is a blend that is much more effective than each individual plant compound alone.

Published clinical studies have demonstrated the activation of the JNK gene with Herpes infection as follows:

1. Activation of the JNK pathway by HSV-1 immediate early protein ICP0 (Diao L. et al).

2. Expression of HSV-2 US3 affects the Cdc42/Rac pathway and attenuates JNK activation (Murata).

3. Replication of varicella-zoster virus is influenced by the levels of JNK/SAPK and p38/MAPK activation (Rahaus).

4. HSV type 1-induced encephalitis has an apoptotic component associated with activation of JNK (Perkins).

These studies reveal how Herpes viruses use different proteins to activate the JNK gene in the host cell to replicate itself.

An obvious offensive strategy, then, to blocking HSV replication due to activation of the JNK gene pathway is to BLOCK the JNK path without interfering with normal human host cell activity. This, too, has been demonstrated:

1. BX-795 inhibits HSV-1 and HSV-2 replication by blocking the JNK/p38 pathways without interfering with PDK1 activity in host cells (Su et al).

2. Downregulation of cellular JNK and NF-κB activation by berberine may result in inhibition of HSV replication (Song).

So, blocking JNK activity also blocks Herpes replication. But, that is not all! Blocking an over-active JNK gene not only blocks Herpes replication but also improves brain function, provides pain relief, decreases cancer risk, enhances repair of damaged blood vessels, improves nerve function and decreases Herpes-related complications such as Herpes encephalitis. Here are four of many such published reports:

1. Herpes simplex virus type 1-induced encephalitis has an apoptotic component associated with activation of JNK (Perkins et al).

2. JNK: A Putative Link Between Insulin Signaling and Alzheimer's Disease (Rodriguez-Perdigon).

3. SP600125, a selective JNK inhibitor, protects ischemic renal injury via suppressing the extrinsic pathways of apoptosis (Wang).

4. Neuroprotection against focal ischemic brain injury by inhibition of JNK and attenuation of the mitochondrial apoptosis-signaling pathway (Gao).

All of the ingredients in Blue-Top have been demonstrated in published clinical studies to suppress the JNK gene. This proprietary formula includes but is not limited to silibinin, curcumin, crocin, quercitin, licorice and uncaria. Because these flavonoids suppress the JNK gene that Herpes uses to replicate itself, Blue-Top offers many other benefits (such as improved brain function, pain relief, anti-cancer effects, improvement of nerve problems such as sciatica, etc.).

The most effective way to realize the benefits of any natural medicine is to enhance the absorption of the product through the stomach and small intestine. This way, more of the medicine reaches the blood stream and less is lost as waste. For this reason, HBG3 is not encapsulated but instead packaged in its native powdered form without any anti-cake agents or other fillers.

Excellent product. I have not used it yet on an existing cold sore and hope I don't have to. I was so fed up after my last outbreak, it was huge and on my bottom lip and very noticeable to others. Very embarrassing. I had researched tons of products and decided to give this a try. This arrived around the time my cold sore was healing, but I started to feel another one coming on on my upper lip. I feared that I was going to have the dreaded back to back outbreaks. I immediately put the HBG on and it stopped it right away. It never blistered and scabbed over like normal and was never visible to anyone which is the most important part in my opinion. By day 3 I could not feel anything there anymore. It felt like magic. I hope this continues to work this well. Love that the product is all natural and it smells great. The jar is a good size and will last a LONG time even with daily use. Well worth the small investment!!

If you google how to get rid of cold sores, you'll come across a few repeated ingredients. Tea tree oil, coconut oil, and lemon balm to name a few. This product makes it convenient in the fact that it has all of these things mixed into it. I personally received it in the middle of my outbreak so I can't comment if it

shortened the duration. For nearly the same amount of money you get 20x the amount you would with Abreva. This balm does have a lemon scent to it. I personally like it and can't even tell after a few minutes. My partner does sometimes comment on the fact that I smell like lemons. Just something to note. Overall, I would recommend this product and do plan on purchasing it again after this runs out.

I bought my first jar of this amazing product last year because I was sick of having to be on antibiotics one week out of the month on most months. This product really works! About 21 years ago I met a nice lady who had HSV2, but she didn’t know it at the time. After several dates we connected, and began a monogamous relationship. A few weeks into that I had my first HSV2 encounter. We both immediately had blood tests and the doctor determined my episode was my first and she had HSV for a while. Since then I have had 3-4 outbreaks each year. I won’t get into the different treatments doctors recommended over the years, but in the last few years I began a regimen of external 5% and taken by mouth Acyclovir 200MG, as soon as I realize I am having an attack. External was applied 3 times a day and internal was 2 caps three times a day. This lasted for one week. By then it is almost gone, but not entirely. The first few days is painful burning, as the external Acyclovir did little for the pain.A couple of months ago I had two episodes within 2 months and began looking “outside the box” for a better solution. It was then I ran across some reviews on Amazon about Herb-B-Gone. It sounded too good to be true, but I thought, “What have I got to lose?” so I placed an order. The current bout was over by the time I received the product, so I waited until I had symptoms the next time. At that point I was much more sensitive about when another session was starting, with a very slight sensation on the usual area. (This, I had learned empirically, if I wait another few days, will turn into a burning pimple, and the

point I had previously begun treatment.) About 6-weeks later I began feeling a very slight sensation in the previously affected area. It was not painful (yet) but upon examination I could barely see something was forming. (But keep in mind that at this point I was suspicious, and not waiting for a burning pimple.) Immediately I took a Q-tip and liberally applied some HBG to that area. The ointment began soothing the sensation right away. Throughout the day I could feel it soothing the area. Since applying HBG after my nightly shower, first thing in the morning and once about 3 PM each day I discovered in 3 days everything was back to normal. Attack thwarted! Yippee! No more Acyclovir. HBG is a solution I hope will last the rest of my life because HSV2 is never “cured” - only “controlled.” Interestingly, the ingredients list all natural items and a little beeswax to hold it together. The smell is a pleasant citrus. Also, clean your hands thoroughly before AND after application. As I placed my original HBG order I decided to also try their Sensual Lube. I like it and will continue using it. It too has a pleasant citrus smell. BTW, about 20 years ago I married that nice lady.

Lately I have outbreaks every two weeks specially after eating sweet treats. Starts with itches and then bursts. I did some research and I came across HBG. Usually I am very skeptical about trying products but there are so many great reviews about this that I decided to give it a try. I checked the ingredients and I got sold on it. I am using it for about week now and I see big difference. So far all is great and I decided to also try HBG Sensual Lube and HBG3. I am sure these two will do wonders just like HBG did. The comfort that this product has provided is SO freakin appreciated. The natural ingredients have a cooling/soothing effect and definitely helps to hasten the healing process. I get cold sores all the time. I ordered this the day I felt one coming on. I got it fast and it worked. I’ve used other products that didn’t work this fast. I'm on MS medication that has completely killed my body's defense mechanism. Therefore, I am constantly getting cold sores. I've tried everything (over the counter, prescription....you name it). This stuff seems to be doing its job in as little as 3 days I see my sores getting smaller and not nearly as painful. I'm looking to try the Blue-Top to stop the virus from coming out all together. First, I love the scent a lot. The lemon fragrance makes me feel relieved and calm. And I feel less itchy now, but it would be better if it had creamy texture than oily one. Still, I enjoy putting it on a lot.

This actually seems to help shorten the duration of my outbreaks and helped with pain somewhat as well. I also don't get another outbreak soon after one resolves after using this product. I will definitely repurchase when I run out.
