The Accommodation can provide care for up to 82 residents within our 63 en suite rooms and enjoys a truly homely atmosphere. Most rooms are single occupancy. We are able to care for people with all levels of dependency with our range of profile beds, moving aids and fully assisted bathing equipment. The Home has several communal areas including three large lounges, one of which extends out into the conservatory, which opens onto a garden and patio area enjoyed by Residents and families during good weather. The Care Home provides nursing and dementia care for the elderly, and has a reputation for outstanding levels of personal care and attention, fostered by the experience of the Registered Manager, Head of Departments and the rest of our dedicated staff. Working in close cooperation with GPs and other local healthcare teams, every effort is made to provide a home for life, in a comfortable and friendly surrounding. Our Dedicated Dementia Unit was created in 2011 and was designed following expert advice and guidelines from the Dementia Services Development Centre at the University of Stirling. The unit gained full Gold Accreditation award for design from the DSDC on opening and remains ‘Highly Commended’.
