Meet Wheely and Props, the Herobots. They look huge, don’t they? Enormous! Gigantic! Big!
Page 3
They’re not. Wheely is ten-and-a-half inches tall. Props is a half-inch taller. Yes, he’s all of eleven.
Page 4
The Herobots are action figures, on display in Sally’s Comics & Toys store. Nice place, huh?
Page 5
The store’s owner is Sally Smiley, who, as her name says, smiles a lot. Smiling Sally Smiley!
Page 6
“Wow! I sold so many comics and toys today, I’ll be smiling all night,” Sally says, smiling.
Page 7
“Banks are closed, so I’ll hide my money inside this toy Terrobot! Now that’s a safe safe!”
Page 8
“Goodnight, fishies! Goodnight, fish-girl statue at the bottom of the fish tank! See you tomorrow!”
Page 9
“Goodnight, Herobots! Don’t magically come to life while I’m gone! Ha ha! Just kidding!”
Page 10
But the second Sally leaves, the Herobots do come to life! “YAWN!,” Wheely says, stretching.
Page 11
“It feels good to wake up,” says Props. “It feels better to bot-form,” says Wheely. Bot-form? Yes!
Page 12
Props bot-forms into a Herobot with propellors! Wheely bot-forms into a Herobot with wheels!
Page 13
But both heroic robots are suddenly stopped by a THOOM-BLAST, which sounds like...
Page 14
The blast comes from Terrobot! “Stand aside, Herobots, or I’ll thoom you again,” it warns.
Page 15
“Terrobot’s trying to escape!” groans Wheely. “With Sally’s money in its head!” moans Props.
Page 16
“Yes, I’m stealing the money,” Terrobot sneers. “That deduction will cost you another blast!”
Page 17
“Terrobot, can we talk about this?” asks Props.ZZTT! “Well, I guess we can’t,” says Wheely.
Page 18
“Blast my buddy Wheely, will ya?,” yells Props, swooping down on the runaway Terrobot.
Page 19
Props dodges the blaster, but forgets aboutTerrobot’s mighty, five-fingered fist of steel!
Page 20
“Oh, no! Props is bopped!,” thinks Wheely, dodging Terrobot boots. “Land safely, Props!”
Page 21
Oh, Props lands safely, all right! If you call upside-down in the fish tank “all right.”
Page 22
What’s this? The fish girl speaks! “Hello, Props. Glad you dropped in. My name is Fynn and...”
Page 23
“I am a Herobot, too!”
Page 24
Fynn rolls her fins into a magnetic ball andshoots out of the tank. “Follow me!,” she yells.
Page 25
“Hey, I’m the one who flies,” Props yells back.“But I know how to stop Terrobot,” says Fynn.
Page 26
“First, we grab this mirror,” says Fynn. “What? This is no time to admire ourselves,” says Props.
Page 27
Meanwhile, Wheely is trying to distract Terrobot from the front door. But he can’t do it alone!
Page 28
“I could use back-up,” Wheely says. He looks up and sees: “Props! A mirror! And a fish girl?”
Page 29
Props yells: “This our our new friend Fynn! How about some help with the load, Wheely?”
Page 30
“Sure! Drop that mirror on me and let’s wheel,”says Wheely. “I sense an anti-Terrobot plan!”
Page 31
Yes, imagine you are Terrobot and you see this: Your own reflection. Coming at you full speed!
Page 32
You’d freak out! And that’s what Terrobot does!It shoots a THOOM at the menace in the mirror!
Page 33
But the blast ricochets, hitting Terrobot whereit hurts most: in the blaster! “Arrg!,” it cries.
Page 34
KLANK! Terrobot crashes to the floor, out cold.“Quick! Let’s check on Sally’s cash,” says Props.
Page 35
“All here!,” says Wheely. “Terrobot had money on the brain.” Fynn asks: “Terrobot has a brain?”
Page 36
“Actually, it doesn’t! Explain that,” muses Props.“It’s under someone’s control!,” exclaims Fynn.
Page 37
“We’ll find out who it is together – as Herobots! Welcome to the team, Fynn,” announces Wheely.
Page 38
The next morning, smiling Sally Smiley enters her store. And for a moment, she stops smiling!
Page 39
“Why is Terrobot broken?,” she asks. “And how did the fish girl get next to the Herobots?”
Page 40
But suddenly, smiling Sally Smileyis smiling once again...
Page 41
...as the newest Herobot gives hera very big-eyed wink!
