HENRY MILLER Sgt. North Carolina Henry Miller was in Greene County by 1794, when on July 17th of that year, Henry was given a Land Patent Grant #1288 for 200 acres of land on Little Chuckey. He sold this land on August 17, 1810 to Peter Baker. It is presumed, this is about the time Henry took his family to Roane County, Tennessee. Henry died on August 6th, 1820. His widow, Martha, filed for a Pension under the Act of 1836:

Henry Miller was in Greene County by 1794, when on July 17th of that year, Henry was given a Land Patent

Grant #1288 for 200 acres of land on Little Chuckey. He sold this land on August 17, 1810 to Peter Baker. It is

END NOTE:

Dobson Miller who signed the Power of Attorney was a son of Henry and Martha Miller. After his Mother's

death, Dobson migrated to Douglas County, Missouri where he died in 1877. Dobson is buried in Denney

Cemetery.
