Contest deadline is May 15th. Winner will be announced May 25th. Contest winners will receive an entry into the Boot Camp clinic of their choice. Contest Rules:

Please read through and respond to the following questions. You may write or type, the main judging criteria is content. All youth, 18 and under are encouraged to apply. 1. Give an example of a time when a teacher, coach, or adult in a leadership role has inspired you, or helped you become better. 2. Give an example explaining how horses taught you a life lesson or helped you become a better person. 3. Is there a horse or a horse person that has inspired you? This can be a real person or horse, or a person or horse in history, something you have read about, or a horse related movie or video you have seen. 4. What do you hope to gain from attending this clinic? 5. Do you have goals related to your horse or your riding? What are those goals? 6. Please list any clubs or organizations you belong to, and your role in that club. (Example, junior leader in 4-H, membership in church youth group, scouts, etc) 7. Please ask one adult, not a parent, that knows you well to write a letter of recommendation for you. Ask them to give an example of a time when you helped someone else, or did something beneficial. (Example - mowed the lawn for an elderly person without being asked, stopped bullying at school, adopted a shelter animal) 8. Also please have your parent write a brief statement saying they are willing to have you participate.
