Heiliggeistkirche (Holy Ghost church)

Built between 1344 and 1441 Tower completed in 1544 Until 1623, the galleries

contained Europe’s largest collection of handwritten books and documents (the “Bibliotheca Palatina”)

From 1706 to 1936 the church was divided by a wall through the middle: one side held Lutheran masses, the other held Catholic masses

Alte Brücke (Old Bridge)

The Bridge First bridge was constructed by Karl Theodor
