SAFETY POLICY GOAL PHILOSOPHY REGULATORY COMPLIANCE EMPLOYEE INVOLVEMENT SAFETY EDUCATION HAZARD CONTROL ASSESSMENT INCIDENT PREVENTION MANAGEMENT LEADERSHIP & ACCOUNTABILITY To improve employee well being and reduce costs by preventing workplace incidents. All workplace incidents are preventable. Each facility General Manager will reduce incidents by establishing clear safety expectations and goals, providing resources, enforcing policies and procedures, and monitoring overall progress. Working safely is a condition of employment and is a basic responsibility of every employee. All employees are expected to participate fully in all elements of the safety program. Complying with applicable laws and regulations is not optional. In no circumstance may any company employee knowingly violate a law, regulation, or company policy. Workplace incidents are prevented through; thourough incident investigation; the elimination of unsafe conditions, unsafe acts, and unsafe work practices; enforcement of policies and procedures; and through appropriate engineering, operating, and administrative controls. Each employee will be provided with the training, skills, and equipment necessary to work safely. Unsafe conditions will be identified, assessed, and elminated through routine safety and housekeeping inspections.
