Back to Verse 8“The way into the holy place has not yet been disclosed”This can be translated MANY different waysOne commentator wrote… “you will never know the fullness and freedom of life in Christ if you are still going to the tabernacle to fix yourself. Until you understand that you have nothing of value to offer God, you will never get My grace and mercy”


Broken & Contrite ♥Psalm 51:16 For you do not delight in sacrifice, otherwise I would give it; You are not pleased with burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; A broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise.Read Isaiah 29:13 (quoted by Jesus in Matt 15:8-9)

We can sacrifice all that we want and we can obey all the regulations that we want, but in the end if our heart isn't changed, then we're no better off. The Bible contains 805 verses about the heart

And the conscience is cleaned

If your heart isn't fixed on God, you're not free.

“Serve” can also be translated worship.

The bloodblood of Christ purifies our conscience from dead works - the active violation of the will of God. Read 1 John 1:7


Open the Way to GodIt is the kindness of Christ and the overwhelming gratitude that brings us to repentance.The atoning death of Christ gives us right relationship with God; it also provides the purification that enables authentic relationship with God.
