Until you understand that you have nothing of value to offer God, you will never get My grace and mercy”

Broken & Contrite ♥Psalm 51:16 For you do not delight in sacrifice, otherwise I would give it; You are not pleased with burnt offering. The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit; A broken and a contrite heart, O God, You will not despise.Read Isaiah 29:13 (quoted by Jesus in Matt 15:8-9)

We can sacrifice all that we want and we can obey all the regulations that we want, but in the end if our heart isn't changed, then we're no better off. The Bible contains 805 verses about the heart

One Present Day ScenarioLaying in bed at night your conscience/thoughts start gnawing at youYou didn’t pray well today, you struggled with this, you can do so much better, you tend to be lazy, you did this, you didn’t do that, God can’t be pleased with me.That’s when you thank God for Jesus! When you become overwhelmed by the fact that Christ loves you as a dirty sinner, it’s the kindness that leads to true repentance

And the conscience is cleaned
