JOB / ROLE DESCRIPTION
This modern apprenticeship SVQ 3 in Mechanical Engineering
Services: Heating and Ventilating Installation covers units in
heating and ventilating planning, systems installation, systems
commissioning, safe working, quality development and effective
working relationships. This modern apprenticeship will also cover
site procedures and common welding technology, both metal arc
welding practice and oxy acetylene welding practice.
ENTRY REQUIREMENTSThe employee must have more than 5 years’
experience within the heating & ventilation industry. COURSE
DELIVERYEmployees will need to attend college on a day release
basis over 18-24 months. They will need to complete only the theory
side of the course through assignments, projects and portfolio.
This course is delivered in Glasgow.
