The vessels of the heart

Pericardium sinus• Transverse sinus of pericardium - posterior to ascending aorta

and pulmonary trunk, anterior to superior vena cava and left atrium.

• Oblique sinus of pericardium - cul-de-sac , posterior to heart, bounded by pulmonary veins on either side
