The Eatwell PlateThe Eatwell Plate is divided into five different sections:

1. Fruit and vegetables2. Potatoes, bread, rice,

pasta and starchy foods3. Meat, fish, eggs and

beans4. Milk and dairy foods5. Food and drinks high in fat

and sugar

The Eatwell PlateThe Eatwell Plate tells us our diet should be made up of:

• 33% - Bread, rice, potatoes, pasta and other starchy foods • 33% - Fruit and vegetables• 15% - Milk and dairy foods • 12% - Meat, fish, eggs, beans and other non-dairy sources of protein• 8% - Foods and drinks high in fat and/or sugar
