Initial Objectives At the beginning of class my goals were to help with making

resources available to the communities. I wanted to network with people from providence so that I

can build that relationship and hopefully learn about the organization more.

Also I wanted to gain experience on how the hospital works with the community and what the hospital can provide for community.

Made Sure resources were up to date

added new amenities (Ex:sports fields & Parks)

Added resources and services (ex:Hot Lunches, clothing, shelter, and groceries)

What I Learned

There are many resources for people Behind the scene hospital workers are very valuable to

projects Have to be adaptive in the hospital atmosphere My perception of that cities in the north end are high

income is completely wrong

Closing thoughts

Working in the health care atmosphere, there are may ways to help low-income communities

The fieldwork was not what I expected but I’m glad that I experience it
