It all started eight years earlier in Feb- ruary 2002. Eleven year-old J.R. watched short track speed skating in the Salt Lake City Winter Olympics. Already a deco- rated inline skater with multiple national championships and records under his belt, he was ready for something new. He thought that taking his talent to the ice would offer both challenge and op- portunity. About 15 months later, in July 2003, when the IOC announced the 2010 Olym- pics would be held in Vancouver, the deal was sealed. J.R. declared to his dad and mom, AIM Directors Bob and Sue Celski, that he wanted to be there. The “Family Project” took root. Within four months of that declaration, The AIM Companies™ picked up J.R. as a sponsored athlete and has backed him ever since. Fast forward to February 2010. After recovering from a near career-ending in- jury sustained at the Olympic Trials just five months earlier, J.R. landed in Vancou- ver with the U.S. Olympic Team. He made it – he was now no longer an “Olympic Hopeful.” He was an “Olympian!” The excitement overwhelmed J.R. For the next week, he and the U.S. short track team practiced on the ice at the Pacific Coliseum, the venue for the Olympic short track competition. His first race occured eight days later. But first, J.R. fulfilled another dream. At the opening ceremonies of the Olym- pic Games, J.R. marched in the very front row of the U.S. team, with NBC cameras J.R. He told me the other day he had noticed how much better he felt since he started drinking the shakes I make from ProPeas and how much more energetic he feels. INSIDE:

EARTH DAY, an annual celebration of the environment taking place this year on April 22, presents a timely moment to contemplate an essential fact of life: the earth provides all the nutrition we need.

The soil of our home planet is the womb that brings forth a universal supply of fruit and vegetables essential to sustain life on Earth. And on memorable oc-casions like Earth Day, it is important to remember the responsibility we have

to keep it that way.One of the many threats to human

existence is the pollution and overuse of the soils that create our food supply. Research indicates that today’s produce provides less nutritional value than crops grown over a half century ago. Further evidence suggests a correlation between the decrease in nutritious food and a host of modern dis-eases.

For 28 suc-cessful years,

AIM has provided a way to balance the effects of this nutritional deficiency with a wide range of natural health products and whole food concentrates.

To reap the maximum nutritional value of barley grass, carrots, and beets, take the AIM Garden Trio®. A serving of BarleyLife®, Just Carrots® and RediBeets® provides more nutrients than a pound of those vegetables combined. That’s more than a 20 times concentration!

BarleyLife provides you with the concentrated good-ness of young barley plants, the most nutritional grass on earth. Convenience and optimal nutrition make AIM’s whole-food concentrates the perfect sup-plements for a healthy diet that includes daily servings of vegetables.

Cheryl was so impressed with the results of ProPeas that she got her family involved, too.

“My husband suffers from chronic depression and had a 6-bypass heart surgery two years ago at the age of 55,” Cheryl says. “When I started him on

ProPeas, he noticed an increase of energy and over-all good feeling in only two weeks. He told me the other day he had noticed how much better he felt since he started drinking the shakes I make from ProPeas and how much more energetic he feels. ProPeas not only helps with weight issues but over-

Celski Olympic Experience from p. 1

singling him out before anyone else. A photographer friend of the family, Jerry Search, captured the TV image and per-fectly described what he saw on J.R.’s face: “I’m here, I have won!”

For the next two weeks, the Celski family participated in the Olympics from every standpoint. Most fulfilling was the fact that we were able to share this lifetime experience with our loved ones: family and friends who were somehow involved in the Family Project along the way.

Our oldest son Chris spent two weeks in Vancouver. Our son David, an Army First Lieutenant, and his wife Brittney were able to be with us for nine days. Both grandmas, Betty and Penny, were in attendance, as were most of J.R.’s aunts, uncles, and cousins, and our closest fam-ily friends. Having the games occur less than a three-hour drive from our home was such an advantage.

J.R. did more than his part to ensure we all had a memorable experience at the Olympics. He shocked the world by win-ning the bronze medal in his first event, the 1,500 meters on the first Saturday of the Games.

J.R. came to Vancouver not know-ing how he would hold up in terms of physical and mental preparation. In fact, he was not even supposed to be back on skates. He was not supposed to be able to compete in the Olympics. He was not sup-posed to advance out of the heats. He was not supposed to medal, but he did, exactly five months and one day after the terrible accident at the Olympic Trials.

NBC announcer Andy Gabel captured it perfectly in the heat of the moment: “J.R. Celski goes from just hoping to be alive, now he’s at the Olympic games, now he has an Olympic medal. What an amazing finish.”

J.R. would go on to medal a second time as a member of the 5,000 meter men’s relay, where Gabel again commented of J.R., “That’s J.R. Celski, look how fast he’s going!” as J.R. caught up and helped pass the Chinese team into a bronze medal finish. One of J.R.’s coaches, Larry Daignault, summed it up like this: “J.R. is the miracle of these games; no one knows like me what he went through to be on the podium.”

For me, it was an experience of a life-time. Watching my son beaming twice with arms raised, a bouquet of flowers in one hand and a medal around his neck, with Olympic music blaring while on the world stage – what could be better? I guess the only thing better is having my family participate in the Family Project that allowed my son to fulfill a childhood dream.

PEOPLE VIRUSES – When we first got our computer, we didn’t know how to protect our hard drive from viruses. Sure enough, it got infected, and we ended up having to bring in an expert to fix it. Not long after, we upgraded our anti-virus software to make sure the infection did not hap-pen again.

Likewise, we learned a long time ago that you need a system for viruses that affect your person-al hard drive – your brain. Many people with destructive viruses will come after you, especially in relation to your AIM business, and you won’t realize their damaging threat until it is too

late. Of all of the viruses from people in your social circle, the most

destructive for you and your AIM business is the distraction of other multi-level marketing (MLM) companies.

SLEEP – Before Marlys Proehl found AIM Cell Wellness Restorer™, she would typically wake up two to three times during the night and would rarely get a good night’s sleep. Things are much dif-ferent now.

Marlys, a Preferred Member from Dunda, Minnesota, received a free bottle of Cell Wellness Restorer in her product order during AIM’s holiday season, and

she has been a regular user ever since. The CWR, Marlys says, has made a world of dif-ference in her sleep habits.

Before bedtime each night, she applies the CWR topically and then follows the topical application with a shower. The results have an immediate impact. Since adding CWR to her regimen, Marlys no longer wakes up during the night. In fact, she sleeps so soundly she says she doesn’t even think she moves during the night.

Cell Wellness Restorer contains a collection of minerals and elements that create a relaxing, soothing spa-like ex-perience. The magnesium in Cell Well-ness Restorer helps promote production of DHEA, a stress-relief hormone that is depleted with age.

trol what gets into your hard drive, but with your own anti-virus system, you can always hit the delete button.

For example, the first few years I was willing to let peo-ple send me information, thinking I needed to know about these other opportunities. Then I realized that it was infect-ing my hard drive – my brain – with useless information. I took all of this MLM literature and quarantined it in the

Huxter Anti-Virus System – our wood stove – and burned every scrap.

Many such people believe that diversity is good for MLM when in fact it is sim-ply bad business. As soon as your downline finds out that

you are representing more than one company, their belief in you and AIM goes out the window.

These opportunities may look attractive, but what makes them look good are the very things that make them fail. They aren’t financially sound. Eighty-five percent of them won’t survive five years, and 95 percent won’t survive ten years.

Trying to run more than one MLM business is a sure way to fail. Make sure that your hard drive and your AIM business keep the viruses at bay.

“AIM is the finest vessel sailing the MLM seas, so jumping ship to board a distracting ship is a foolhardy option. Make sure that your AIM isn’t thrown off course by a virus!”

TESTIMONY – The four nutrient-dense leaves that compose AIM Leaf-Greens® – spinach, faba bean, field pea, and barley – contain a wealth of nutrition benefits. Director Karen Chan, from Vancouver, Brit-ish Columbia, Canada, be-lieves that fighting Parkin-son’s could be one of them.

“All Parkinson’s patients should know about Leaf-Greens,” Karen says. “My relative has suffered from Parkinson’s for over a de-cade. About a year ago, she was at the maximum of her medica-tion, and the doctor admitted there was nothing else to do. She was in her wheelchair and couldn’t even move to help herself sit up in a more comfort-able position.

“I introduced her to LeafGreens. She reluctantly tried it. After about two canisters, I already witnessed her improvement. Right now, she can move around her home without the help of her cane.”

Karen credits the L-dopa from the faba bean leaf in the LeafGreens for-mula as having the biggest benefit to Parkinson’s patients. And researchers agree. L-dopa is known as the gold

standard for treating Par-kinson’s disease due to its ability to restore the depleted supply of do-pamine in the brains of Parkinson’s patients. In particular, L-dopa is ef-fective against rigidity and slowness and signifi-cantly improves the qual-

ity of life for Parkinson’s patients.

Did you know? Quercetin, a flavonoid with a variety of thera-peutic uses and benefits, occurs naturally in LeafGreens but is found in a synthetic form in most supplements. The synthetic form of quercetin is not water soluble, and therefore its consumption pro-vides no meaningful benefits. The natural quercetin in LeafGreens is more bioavailable and absorbable.

Anti-stress tipsGet rid of your stress this month by try-

ing one of these solutions:• Simple exercises. Shrug your shoul-

ders, take a deep breath, and stretch. By working out your muscles and calming your breathing, you help get the blood flowing through your body, and you may just take your mind off of the topic that is troubling you.

• Laugh. A positive attitude and a bit of humor can make a big impact on a stressed out lifestyle. Plus, studies on laughter have shown that a good chuckle can lead to a build up of infection-fighting antibodies in the body.

Did you know? AIM BarleyLife is a dog’s best friend. The fresh, whole-food product is loaded with nutrients that can aid your dog’s arthritis, appe-tite, and overall health.

Minnesota city sets healthy example

Albert Lea, Minnesota, took a proac-tive approach to health, and it paid off by adding an average of 3.1 years to the lon-gevity of 2,300 residents. The “Vitality Project” was a community-wide effort to live healthier lifestyles, eat healthier diets, and see just how much the subtle changes could affect quality of life. Residents exercised on new bike trails, restaurants offered new nutritious menu options, grocery stores featured whole foods, and businesses carved out em-ployee exercise time. The results speak for themselves. How would your com-munity respond to such an initiative?

Earthy Exercise Tips

EXERCISE – Celebrate Earth Day by getting some fresh air, some exercise, and giving back to the environment. There are many ways to participate in Earth Day. Here are a couple sugges-tions:Give back to the environment: Host a park clean up

Get in touch with your local parks and recreation department to organize a park clean-up day in your area. Break a sweat by bagging trash, and build some relationships with your clean-up com-panions. Enjoy nature at its best: Take your dog for a walk on a nature trail

Walking helps burn calories and keeps you physically fit. Get out and get moving by enjoying nature on a trail, a greenbelt, or a walking path. Bring your pet along or invite a friend.

posure, I was up three to five

times a night and could not stay

asleep. As a realtor, I put in long

hours plus the stress.

MARKETING – There are two types of people in the world. There are those who get paid for doing network market-ing, and those who do it for free. In fact most of us already “do” network market-ing, we just aren’t getting paid for it. For example, have you ever told someone about a good book you’ve read, a good movie you’ve seen, or a good restaurant you’ve enjoyed? Then you have done network marketing already!

Network marketing is nothing more than recommending and promoting something you like. We do it all the time, without even thinking about it.

To learn more about the AIM Oppor-tunity, ask your AIM service representa-tive for a free copy of the new AIM Op-portunity Compensation Booklet or go online at www.theaimcompanies.com to view or download it to your computer.

Have you been network marketing without receiving the rewards?
