MICHIGAN DISTRICT GATHERING
Plans are underway for the 2017 Michigan District Gathering on Mackinac Island on June 25-28. Our last gathering was a blessing to those who attended, so we want all interested youth to make plans now so they won’t be left out. Our total number of spaces on the island is 1,200. This gathering includes inspirational speakers, musicians and breakout sessions. It will also include servant event opportunities and fellowship events. There will be one mass event per day and a daily Bible study session each day. You have the opportunity to attend breakout sessions on Monday and Tuesday of the gathering.
OUR THEME: “Fortress” based on 2 Samuel 22:2: “The Lord is my rock, my FORTRESS and my deliverer; my God is my rock, in whom I take refuge.”
WHO: Current ninth-graders through college freshman.
LOCATION: Mission Point Resort on Mackinac Island.
COST: $385 – includes ferry tickets, breakfast Monday and Tuesday and lunch and dinner provided on Monday and Tuesday with a buffet breakfast provided on Wednesday morning, housing, program, luggage handling, and a T-shirt.
Your spot is not reserved until your registration forms and money are turned in. Registration opened November 1. If you are in need of scholarship help, please let Mr. Cmeyla know right away. ***More information is available by Billy’s office***
